Getting to Know Your Coolpad Tattoo

Navigate your new Coolpad Tattoo easily and effortlessly the instant you turn it on. Witness how the phone's features lend themselves smoothly to your life every time you manage your apps-with just a tap.

Now it's exactly how it should've always been: simple and smooth. Now it's Coolpad Tattoo.

The Coolpad Tattoo features a Receiver, Front Camera, Headset Jack, Proximity & Light Sensor, Volume Keys, Power Key, and navigation buttons: Recent Button, Home Button, and Back Button.

Power On & Screen Lock Setting

Get off to a running start with your new Coolpad Tattoo.

1. Connect the charger cable to the phone for complete charging.
2. Turn on your phone by pressing and holding the Power Key for a few seconds.
3. Swipe the Padlock icon [lock-icon] up to unlock your phone.

To change Screen-lock Security options, tap [settings-icon] > Settings screen. Then, navigate to Personal > Security > Screen Lock to select your desired option.

Getting Familiar with Your Email

Tap the email icon [email-icon] to enter the Email screen on your device.

1. For first-time use, enter your email address and password to configure an account.
2. After your email account is configured, you can archive, delete, label, or perform other mail operations.
3. On the Email screen, tap [settings-icon] > Settings to add a new email account. You can then tap an existing email account to customize its settings.

Customizing Your Home Screen

1. To add an app or widget to your home screen, tap and hold it from the Apps screen, then drag it to the Home screen.
2. To move an app, tap and hold an item on the Home screen, and then drag it to a new location.
3. To move the item to another panel, drag it to the side of the screen. To remove an item, tap and hold the item, then drag it to the Remove [close-icon] area at the top of the screen.

Sending Texts

1. Tap on your Home Screen to open the messaging application.
2. Enter the recipient's phone number, type your message, and then tap the send button [send-icon].
3. To attach a file or media such as photos or videos, tap the attachment icon [attachment-icon] before sending your message.

Note: Unsent messages are automatically saved as drafts.

Wi-Fi & Bluetooth

For Wi-Fi:

1. Tap [settings-icon] > Settings screen.
2. Navigate to Wireless & Networks > WLAN to turn WLAN on. Tap the name of a desired network to connect, entering the password if required.

For Bluetooth:

1. Navigate to Wireless & Networks > Bluetooth to turn Bluetooth on.
2. Within the list, tap the ID of the Bluetooth device to pair with it. Ensure that both devices show the same passkey and tap Pair [check-icon].

When Bluetooth is turned on, your device can communicate with other nearby Bluetooth devices.

Creating and Sharing Videos and Photos

1. Tap the camera icon [camera-icon] to enter the Camera screen.
2. To take a photo, focus on your subject by looking through your phone screen. Tap the capture button [camera-shutter-icon] to take a photo. Alternatively, swipe to the left to activate the Pro mode and tap to take a photo.
3. To create a video, swipe to the right to activate the Video mode. Tap the record button [record-icon] to start recording a video. Tap the stop button [stop-icon] when you finish recording.
4. To share a video or photo, tap [share-icon] > to enter the Photos screen. Select a video or photo and tap the share option.

Download new apps by tapping the Play Store icon [play-store-icon] on the Home Screen.

Sync your Google/Gmail account by tapping 'Existing' (or 'New') Gmail account. Here you can download apps, games, music, movies, and other media by following the online instructions.
