Coolpad Flo™™ Quick Start Guide

Getting to Know Your Coolpad Flo™™

Familiarize yourself with the key components of your new Coolpad Flo™™:

• Front-Facing Camera
• 5MP Camera (on back)
• Volume Key
• 3.5mm Audio Jack
• USB/Power Port
• Earpiece
• Power Key
• Speaker (on back)

Power Up Your Device

Get started quickly with these steps:

1. Attach the charger cable to the phone and plug it in for a complete charge.
2. Turn on your phone by pressing and holding the [power key] for a few seconds.
3. To unlock, tap the Unlock icon and swipe to the right.
4. To change Screen-lock Security options: Navigate to ⚙️ [Settings] > [Personal] > [Security] > [Screen Lock]. Select your preferred option (e.g., Slide, Pattern, PIN, Password, Face Unlock).

Setting Up & Sending Emails

Configure your email accounts and send messages:

1. Tap the ✉️ [Email App], then tap ➕ [Add Account].
2. Enter your existing email address or add a new one, and then enter your password. Select the account type from the available options.
3. Press the ☰ [Options Menu] for a pop-up menu to customize your Email Settings. You can add more email accounts by tapping "ADD ACCOUNT" in the Settings.
4. To send an email: In the Inbox, tap the ? [New Message]. After entering an email address and your message, tap ▶️ [Send].

Customize Your Apps on the Home Screen

Personalize your Home Screen with your favorite applications:

• Add Apps: From the Apps Menu, press and hold your desired App icon, then slide it to your Home Screen.
• Remove Apps: On your Home Screen, press and hold the App icon you wish to remove, then slide it to the top of the screen and drop it into the ❌ [Remove Icon].
• Move Apps: Press and hold the chosen App icon while sliding it to the desired location on your phone.

Sending Text Messages

Communicate via SMS:

1. Tap the ? [Messaging App] on your Home Screen.
2. Enter the recipient's phone number, type your message, and then tap the ▶️ [Send] icon to the right.
3. To attach a file or media (photos, videos): Tap the ? [Attachment Icon] (paper clip) in the upper right corner of the screen before sending your message, then tap ▶️ [Send].

Note: Your messages are automatically saved as drafts.

Connecting to Wi-Fi & Bluetooth, Browsing the Internet

Stay connected and browse online:

• Wi-Fi: Go to ⚙️ [Settings] > ? [Wi-Fi]. Select the Wi-Fi network by tapping it, enter your secure password, and tap [Connect].
• Bluetooth: Go to ⚙️ [Settings] > ? [Bluetooth]. Tap the device name (e.g., 7560T) to make it visible or not visible to nearby Bluetooth devices.
• Internet Browsing: Tap the Google search bar at the top of your screen or tap the ? [Browser App] on the Home Screen to start browsing.

Creating and Sharing Videos and Photos

Capture and share your moments:

• Capture Video: Tap the ? [Camera App] from your Home Screen. Then tap the ? [Video Camera Icon] on the lower left part of your screen. Tap the Red record button to start recording and tap it again to stop.
• Capture Photo: Tap the ? [Camera App]. Focus by looking through the phone screen. Press the Blue button to snap a picture.
• Share Media: Go to Apps on your Home Screen > tap the ?️ [Gallery App]. Tap your selected video or photo, and then the ? [Share Icon] to the right of the media title. From the drop-down options, select your method of sharing.

• Download new Apps by tapping the ?️ [Play Store App] on the Home Screen.
• Sync your Google/Gmail account by tapping "Existing (or New) Gmail account". Here you can download apps, games, music, movies, and other media by following the online instructions.
