Introduction

The Reissue Series pedal NUX '59 Bassguy Overdrive, housed in a compact, pedalboard-friendly chassis, recreates the legendary tone of the Fender '59 Bassman amplifier. The pedal is equipped with a JUMP switch to emulate the legendary Jumpering function for the Normal and Bright channels. Enhance your creativity with authentic vintage sound with two tonal options.

Pedal Overview

Description of the pedal's controls:

1. POWER Jack: For connecting a 9V adapter (center negative). NUX ACD-006A adapter recommended.
2. GAIN Knob: Adjusts the input signal gain level.
3. MASTER Knob: Adjusts the pedal's output level.
4. TONE Knob: Adjusts the high-frequency content of the signal, controlling brightness.
5. JUMP Switch: Emulates the Fender '59 Bassman Jumpering function for two sound options: Lower position: Normal sound. Upper position: Brighter sound with enhanced treble.
6. OUTPUT Jack: For connecting to an amplifier.
7. INPUT Jack: For connecting a guitar. Plugging into this jack powers the pedal regardless of whether the effect is on or off. Disconnect the cable when not in use to preserve battery life.
8. LED Indicator: Shows the pedal's operating status.
9. Footswitch: Engages/disengages the effect.

Battery Installation

A 9V battery is included. Replace the battery when:

The indicator light is dim or does not light up.
The effect sound becomes weak or heavily distorted.

Connect the battery wires to the terminals and insert the battery into the pedal's housing.
