Controls and Features

A diagram shows the NUX '59 Bassguy pedal with its controls labeled:

  • 2. GAIN Knob: Adjusts the gain level and distortion amount.
  • 3. MASTER Knob: Sets the output level (volume).
  • 4. TONE Knob: Adjusts the brightness of the tone by controlling high frequencies.
  • 5. JUMP Toggle Switch: Switches between two different tones.
    • Down position: Transparent drive sound.
    • Up position: Bright sound with emphasized high frequencies.
  • 6. OUTPUT Jack: Connect cable to amplifier (Output).
  • 7. INPUT Jack: Connect cable to guitar (Input). Plugging into this jack turns the pedal ON. Unplug when not in use.
  • 8. LED Indicator: Lights up when the effect is ON.
  • 9. ON/OFF Switch: Toggles the effect ON/OFF.

Battery Operation

The '59 Bassguy can also be powered by a 9V battery (006P type). Connect the snap cord to the battery and place it in the compartment.

When the battery is low, the LED may dim, the effect sound may weaken, or distortion may increase. Replace with a new battery.

The battery will drain if a plug is inserted into the INPUT Jack. Unplug when not in use to conserve battery.
