Installation Steps
Follow these steps carefully for correct installation. Refer to the diagrams on pages 5-13 for visual guidance.
Step 1: Initial Attachment
Attach component A to the vehicle's right rear door. Use screws S (1x) and T (1x).
Step 2: Securing Brackets
Use components P2 (2x) and Q2 (4x) to secure the initial frame components. Ensure proper alignment.
Step 3: Frame Assembly
Attach component G (2x) to component A using screws X (4x) and W (6x).
Step 4: Connector Assembly
Assemble the frame connectors: F (2x), L (2x), I (2x), E (2x).
Step 5: Connecting Frame Parts
Connect component D (2x) to component A using screws A2 (4x) and U (4x).
Step 6: Main Frame Installation
Attach the main frame structure (component A) to the vehicle. Secure it using screws W (6x) and X (6x). An arrow indicates the attachment point.
Step 7: Additional Support
Attach component Y2 (3x) to the vehicle frame. An arrow indicates the attachment point.
Step 8: Vehicle Views
Illustrations show the rear and front views of the vehicle after the main frame is installed.
Step 9: Vertical Component Attachment
Attach component C (1x) to the frame using screws Z2 (4x).
Step 10: Upper Connector Assembly
Assemble upper frame connectors: H (1x), E (2x), F (2x).
Step 11: Final Frame Connections
Attach component B (1x) to the frame using screws A2 (4x) and U (4x). Also connect component D.
Step 12: Connecting Main Supports
Connect component B to component C. Arrows indicate the direction of connection.
Step 13: Drilling and Securing
Drill holes with a 10 mm diameter (Ø 10) in the vehicle door. Attach components using screws Y (5x).
Step 14: Final Securing
Attach component J (1x) to the frame using screws W (6x), X (6x), Y2 (3x), R2 (5x), and Z2 (4x).
Step 15: Bracket Installation
Install various mounting brackets: P (1x), T (1x), S (1x), S2 (2x), K2 (1x), Q (1x), R (1x) using the provided screws and washers.
Step 16: Final Bracket Attachment
Attach the remaining mounting brackets: M (2x) with N2 (4x), and N (2x) with O (2x).
Labels and Final Checks
Attention: Keep the provided labels and affix them to the Carry-Bike rails as instructed. ✔️
Final Check: Tighten all screws and ensure the rear door opens and closes correctly. This is crucial for proper function and safety.
