Summary of Changes (Firmware Version 1.10)
- Item 1: The WIRELESS COMMUNICATION option has been removed from the following menus: [SHOOT SETTING] ?, [MOVIE SETTING] ▶️, and [PLAYBACK MENU] ?.
- Item 2: The procedure for pairing the camera with a smartphone has been updated.
- Item 3: The WIRELESS COMMUNICATION option is no longer available for assignment to custom function buttons. Specifically, it has been removed from:
- [EDIT/FUNCTION (Fn) BUTTON] ⚙️ > [EDIT (Fn) SETTING]
- [EDIT (Fn) SETTING] for ZOOM LENS/MOUNT ADAPTER
- Item 4: The WIRELESS COMMUNICATION option has been deleted from [EDIT/FUNCTION (Fn) BUTTON] ⚙️ > [Fn BUTTON SETTING 1].
Connecting to a Smartphone (Ver. 1.10)
Pair your camera with your smartphone and connect via Bluetooth® ?.
Step 1: Initiate Pairing
Press and hold the [Bluetooth] button ?. The Bluetooth setup menu will open.
Note: The menu can also be accessed by pressing and holding the DISP/BACK button while viewing images.
Alternative method: Pairing can also be initiated via the [BLUETOOTH SETTING] option within the [EDIT (Fn) SETTING] menu. This menu is accessed by pressing and holding the DISP/BACK button when the camera is in shooting mode.
Visual Description: The Bluetooth setup menu displays options such as "PAIRING" and "BLUETOOTH ON/OFF".
Step 2: Select Pairing Option
In the Bluetooth setup menu, select "PAIRING" and press the MENU/OK button.
Step 3: Complete Pairing
Launch the pairing application on your smartphone. A code will be displayed on both the smartphone and camera screens. Ensure these codes match to successfully complete the pairing process.
Visual Description: Once the connection is established, the camera's display will show a smartphone icon ? and a white Bluetooth icon ?, indicating an active connection.
- After successful pairing, your smartphone will automatically connect to the camera whenever the application is launched.
- To conserve battery power, you can turn off Bluetooth when the camera is not connected to a smartphone.
