Changes and Additions
The changes and additions are as follows.
Connecting to a Smartphone (Ver. 1.10)
Pair the camera and smartphone and connect via Bluetooth®.
- Press and hold the [Bluetooth Button]. The Bluetooth setting menu appears.
- You can also display the menu by holding down the [DISP/BACK Button] during playback.
- The camera and smartphone can also be paired via Bluetooth & FUNCTION (Fn) SETTING, which appears when the [DISP/BACK Button] is held down in shooting mode.
- Highlight PAIRING and press the [MENU/OK Button].
- Start the app on your smartphone and pair with the camera to display the code on your smartphone and camera. Ensure both codes match for successful pairing.
A smartphone icon ? and a white Bluetooth icon ? appear on the camera display when the connection is established.
- Once the devices are paired, the smartphone will automatically connect to the camera when the app is launched.
- Battery consumption is reduced if Bluetooth is turned off when the camera is not connected to a smartphone.
