Changes and Additions
The changes and additions are as follows:
Connecting to a Smartphone
This section details the process of pairing the camera with a smartphone.
- Swipe down on the LCD screen in the shooting screen. This action will display the pairing screen. (The camera's screen may show options like 'PROVIA' and 'Camera Film Mode' before this step).
- Press the "Pairing" button on the camera's screen.
- Launch the smartphone app and pair it with the camera. A pairing code will be displayed on both the smartphone and camera. Ensure both codes match for successful pairing.
The Bluetooth icon on the camera's screen changes from gray to white when a connection is established. [Bluetooth®]
Once the devices are paired, the smartphone will automatically connect to the camera when the app is launched.
Disabling Bluetooth when the camera is not connected to a smartphone reduces battery consumption. [Battery icon/Power saving symbol]
