The following features have been added, deleted, or updated in firmware version 1.10 for the X-E5 model:

Smartphone Connection via Bluetooth

This section details how to pair your FUJIFILM X-E5 camera with a smartphone using Bluetooth®.

  1. Press and hold the [Bluetooth symbol] button. The Bluetooth settings menu will appear.

    Note: The menu can also be accessed by holding the DISP/BACK button during image display. Alternatively, you can initiate pairing by holding DISP/BACK in shooting mode to access Bluetooth settings and the (Fn) function.

  2. Highlight "Pairing" and press the MENU/OK button.

  3. Open the smartphone application and pair it with the camera. Confirm that the displayed pairing codes match on both the smartphone and the camera.

    Note: Upon successful connection, a white smartphone and Bluetooth icon will appear on the camera's display.

    Note: Once pairing is complete, the smartphone will automatically connect to the camera when the application is launched.

    Note: Disabling Bluetooth when the camera is not actively connected to a smartphone helps conserve battery power.
