Important Safety Instructions
WARNING: Read and follow all instructions carefully before setting up and using this inflatable hot tub to prevent injury and ensure safe operation.
- Electrical Safety: The spa must be powered through an isolating transformer or an RCD (Residual Current Device) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA. Use only grounded electrical outlets. Never use extension cords. Ensure the plug is always dry before inserting it into the socket. The power source must be at least 4 meters away from the spa. The PRCD (Portable Residual Current Device) integrated into the power cord will interrupt power if a leakage current exceeding 10 mA is detected. Do not attempt to reset it yourself; contact authorized service.
- General Safety: Never use the spa during thunderstorms, lightning, or rain. Do not wear contact lenses while in the spa. Avoid using the spa during chemical maintenance. Never connect or disconnect the plug with wet hands. Always unplug the unit before cleaning or maintenance, or when leaving it unattended for extended periods. Store the spa indoors during winter or prolonged periods of non-use. Use only Bestway-approved accessories. Ensure the spa is placed on a smooth, level, and stable surface free of sharp objects. Keep electrical appliances (lights, phones, radios, TVs) at least 2 meters away from the spa.
- Child Safety: Children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities may use the appliance if supervised or instructed on safe use and understand the hazards. Children must not play with the appliance. For non-EU markets, children must be supervised at all times. Always cover the spa after each use to prevent children from accessing it.
- Drowning Hazard: Children are at high risk of drowning. Constant adult supervision is required when children are in or near the spa. Remove all toys from the spa and its surroundings when not in use. Use safety covers or barriers to prevent unauthorized access.
- Injury Prevention: Ensure suction fittings are not broken or missing. Never replace suction fittings with ones of a smaller rated flow. Do not use the spa if inlet/outlet pipes are damaged or not installed. Always consult your local service center for pipe replacement. Do not jump into shallow water. Avoid using the spa if you have consumed alcohol or drugs that may impair your judgment.
- Temperature Safety: Water temperature should not exceed 40°C (104°F). For healthy adults, 38°C (100°F) to 40°C (104°F) is considered safe. Lower temperatures are recommended for children. Pregnant women should limit water temperature to 38°C (100°F) due to potential risks to the fetus. Measure water temperature with an accurate thermometer. Hyperthermia can occur if body temperature rises significantly above normal; symptoms include dizziness, lethargy, and unconsciousness, leading to drowning risk.
- Health Considerations: Consult a doctor before use if you have a history of heart disease, high/low blood pressure, circulatory issues, diabetes, or if you are taking medication that may cause drowsiness. Avoid holding your head underwater for extended periods. Do not ingest spa water.
- Chemical Safety: Never pour water into chemicals. Always add chemicals to water. Store chemicals out of reach of children. Follow chemical manufacturer's instructions and maintain proper water chemistry (pH, alkalinity, chlorine).
- Freeze Shield™ Technology: This system automatically maintains water temperature between 6°C (42.8°F) and 10°C (50°F) to prevent freezing damage in cold conditions. Ensure the heater is always on if the ambient temperature is below 10°C (50°F). If Freeze Shield™ is not functioning, alarm messages may appear. If temperatures drop below 6°C (42.8°F) for extended periods, disassemble and store the spa. Do not use the spa if ambient temperature drops below -10°C (14°F).

Setup and Installation
General Setup: Ensure the location can support the spa's weight. Provide an adequate drainage system for overflows. Always use the cover to reduce heat loss during heating, but remove it during use. The cover should be stored cleanly when not in use. Consider a lower water temperature setting when the spa is not in use. Use an insulating floor mat to minimize heat loss. Keep filters clean for optimal pump performance. Position the spa away from resting areas to minimize noise disturbance. Consult local authorities regarding water supply regulations.
Indoor Setup: Be aware of humidity effects on materials like wood and paper. Ensure adequate ventilation. Never place the spa on carpets or other floor coverings that retain moisture or harbor bacteria.
Outdoor Setup: Install near a floor drain due to potential water leakage. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight exposure. Consult local experts regarding groundwater and frost risks.
Freeze Shield™ Setup Instructions (Winter Setup):
- If ambient temperature is below 10°C (50°F), store the spa indoors at over 15°C (59°F) for at least 2 hours before inflating to make the PVC more pliable.
- Inflate the spa using the spa heater in a room above 15°C (59°F).
- Place the spa outdoors, connect the heater, and fill with water.
- Water temperature for filling must be above 6°C (42.8°F) to prevent E03 alarm.
- If Freeze Shield™ is not functioning, alarms may appear. Monitor the spa if the outside temperature drops below 6°C (42.8°F). For extended absences, disassemble and store the spa if temperatures may fall below 6°C (42.8°F). The automatic heating function will activate when reassembled. The spa can be used below 6°C (42.8°F) with Freeze Shield™ active.
