User Manual: Connecting the Remote Control

Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

Connecting the Remote Control
A new remote control has to establish a new connection to the cooker hood when used for the first time. One remote control could possibly control several cooker hoods at the same time.
Connection Process
Within 15 seconds after the cooker hood connects to the power supply, long press the ?️ button for 5 seconds. The indicators will begin flashing from one button to another, indicating the cooker hood is in connection mode. Press any button on the remote control to confirm the connection. The connection process is finished, and the remote control can be used for speed selection, lighting, and timer setting.
Reconnecting or Clearing Codes
If you want to connect again, you will need to clear the code that has been set up previously.
To clear the code, press the ?️ button for 5 seconds. The indicators will begin flashing from one button to another, and the cooker is in connection mode. Then, press the ?️ button again for 5 seconds to clear the previous connection code.
When the previous code has been cleared, the cooker hood returns to standby mode. Press the ?️ button for 5 seconds. The indicator lights will flash from one button to another, indicating the cooker hood is in connection mode. Then, press any button on the remote control to confirm the connection.
Remote Control Functions
The remote control has the following buttons:
1. Lighting Button ☀️
Press the lighting button once to turn the light on. The indicator lights for the lighting button and power button will illuminate. Press again to turn the light off. The indicator lights will also turn off. This cycles on and off.
2. Motor Speed Control (On/Increase) ▲
This button controls the motor speed, offering three levels: low, middle, and high.
- Press ▲ once: The indicator light will turn on, and the motor will operate at low speed.
- When the motor is at low speed, press ▲ again: The motor will change to middle speed.
- From middle speed, press ▲ again: The motor will change to high speed.
- From high speed, press ▲ again: The hood will continue to operate at high speed.
3. Motor Speed Control (Off/Decrease) ▼
Press the ▼ button, and the motor will shift to a lower speed. Repeatedly pressing this button will continue to decrease the motor speed until the cooker hood turns off. The indicator light will turn off.
4. Timer Button ?️
Press the timer button to enter the timer setting state. The initial timer setting defaults to 5 minutes. The timer function will be automatically confirmed after 2 seconds of setting and will begin to decrease by seconds. When the set time reaches zero, the motor will automatically cut off the power supply.
When using the timer function, if the control panel changes the time setting, the timer function controlled by the remote will automatically default to the time set previously. After 5 seconds, it will start decreasing every second according to the new set time.
After confirming the timer function, the hood enters the timer state. Press the timer button again to cancel the timer function.
