Atoll support FAQ
Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.
-
Do I need a driver for the USB input on my Atoll device?
Yes, for computers running Windows, a specific XMOS driver must be installed to use the asynchronous USB input. Macintosh and Linux computers do not require this driver.
-
How do I use the CD clamper on top-loading players?
For Atoll top-loading CD players (like the CD400), you must place the magnetic clamper directly onto the CD before closing the sliding hatch to ensure the disc rotates and reads correctly.
-
What is the By-Pass mode used for?
By-Pass mode allows you to configure specific analog inputs (usually Line 1 or 2) to bypass the preamplifier section. This is useful for connecting the device to a home cinema processor, allowing the processor to control the volume.
-
How does the 12V Trigger input work?
The 12V Trigger input allows you to synchronize the power state (On/Standby) of your Atoll amplifier with another device. When connected via a stereo jack cable, switching the main device out of standby will automatically turn on the amplifier.
