Tape Input/Output - Monitoring Loop
The TAPE function allows the recording of music from any selected source. You can also activate a permanent monitoring loop by selecting your source and then holding the TAPE button on the remote control for about 3 seconds. The [tape-monitoring] symbol lights up, indicating the monitoring loop is activated. In this mode, direct access to the TAPE input is no longer possible. This mode can be used to insert an equalizer between the TAPE IN and TAPE OUT sockets. This function is memorized even if you switch off the device from the mains. To deactivate this mode, simply hold down the TAPE button on the remote control again for 3 seconds.

Using the BY-PASS Input
[warning] Warning: reduce the volume of the source connected to BYPASS before any use of the BYPASS Input. The BYPASS Input allows the signal to pass through your preamplifier directly to the power amplifier with no attenuation. It is ideal for plugging in the output of an A/V processor. To avoid issues, select this mode only via the front panel or with the BYPASS key on the remote control (hold 3 sec.). Once selected, "BYPASS" appears on the display, and no other functions are available. Press BYPASS again to exit BYPASS mode.
USB Input
Your appliance is equipped with a High-Res. asynchronous USB Input (B type). To use it, you must download the appropriate driver from the ATOLL website: http://www.atoll-electronique.com/fr/produits/convertisseur-dac/convertisseur-dac200/. An explanatory note on its installation is provided. This driver is not required for Macintosh computers. For high quality format transfers (24 bits / 192kHz), it is recommended to use a USB connection cable with ferrite.
Accepted Formats
- Accepted format on optical and coaxial Inputs: 16-24 bits (32 kHz, 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, 96 kHz, 176.4 kHz and 192 kHz).
- Accepted format on USB Input:
- DSD: DSD64 & DSD128.
- PCM: 16-24 bits (32 kHz, 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, 96 kHz, 176.4 kHz, 192 kHz, 352.8 kHz et 384 kHz).
Bluetooth®
Your appliance allows the reception of audio signals from any device with a Bluetooth transmitter (Smartphone, tablet, computer...).
First Time Association
- Activate the Bluetooth connectivity of your emitter device.
- Select the Bluetooth (BT) input of PR300: unlock symbol [locked-bluetooth] BT appears.
- Select your appliance on the list of possible receivers (named PR300).
- Once the connection is made, the lock symbol [locked-bluetooth] BT appears.
All audio signals from your device source will then be transmitted towards your PR300. Your emitter device will remain associated until you unlock the PR300 with your Smartphone or switch off your amplifier.
Association of Another Emitter
Once associated to an emitter, you need to switch your PR300 completely off to make it visible from another emitter. The quality of reception depends on the power of the Bluetooth emitter and the distance between the two devices. For better reception, avoid being more than 5 meters away from your device for a correct reception without any risks of signal cuts.
