CD Player, USB Input, FM Tuner (optional)

TUNER command and setup

Your CD30 may be equipped with an internal FM receiver (optional). If not, it can be adapted easily later on. Please ask advises directly from your retailer.

Keys 6 to 12 are the same as on the front panel.

MONO (key 11, light 13 on front panel): gives the choice of the quality of the reception (if possible) on Stereo mode (light On) or Mono (light Off).

Selection of the TUNER can be made with the key (10) on the front panel (if the device is on Stand-by) or the key (12) of the remote control. If your CD30 is not equipped with the Tuner receiver, your product will stay on Stand-by mode.

MEMORY SETUP

You will memorised stations with keys MEM, SEL + & -, CHAN - & + of the front panel or of the remote control. You are able to program, for each channel, a line of 7 letters and/or numbers. You can program 60 channels.

  1. Place yourself on a frequency to program.
  2. Push on MEM: Channel's number twinkles.
  3. Choose the channel with keys CHAN - or +.
  4. To confirm, push on the key MEM. Then the first digit twinkles.
  5. Select with keys CHAN - & +, a letter (from A to Z), a number (from 0 to 9) a -, or a space.
  6. To confirm, push on MEM. Repeat sequence (E) for the other 6 digits.

CANCELLATION OF MEMORISED STATION:

Select the memory to cancel and press key (6) MEM. Then press on Stand-by key (12) to cancel the memorised station. « MEM CLS » appears on display. Memorised stations are always available even if your appliance gets switch off.

Advanced functions: to cancel all the memorised stations, press key MEM (6) of the remote control more than 3 seconds.

Combination

It is possible to combine a program with the REPEAT function (display shows RP). It is also possible to combine REPEAT and SHUFFLE functions (display shows RS).

Text: some disc have a «CD Text» section (giving name of artist, name of tracks...). Those texts are automatically read at the beginning of each track.

USB command

Your appliance is equipped at the rear side with an USB input (USB Host) able to read MP3 files. It allows to plug in any devices getting this type of connection: USB keys, MP3 player, hard disk...

Keys 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 16 have the same functions as for the CD player.

Select the USB input with key (11) « USB » of the front panel or key (18) « AUDIO » of the remote control.

The device plugged in will be automatically detected. If there is no devices plugged in, the display will show « NO USB ».

Navigation

No action is possible until the player is not on « PLAY » mode.

Press on « PLAY ».

You can then navigate the various sections present on the device:

At the end of the last track of a chapter, reading continues on the following chapter.

Functions Time, speed backward & forward, Menu and program are not allowed on USB mode.

COMPATIBILITY

This CD player allows to read CD, CD-R and audio discs with MP3 format. Only MP3 files will be readable with the USB input.

E.C. MARKING

E.C. marking certified the conformity with low tension directive 73/23/CEE, directive CEM 89/336/CEE and national transpositions.

GUARANTEE

The guarantee is two years long from date of purchase. We recommend you to ask your dealer to fill the guarantee and to conserve it. The guarantee is only available for appliance which have been use correctly.

CLEANING

Before any cleaning, switch off your CD player (3). Use a soft and dry rag to clean up the appliance. Never use acetone, white-spirit, ammoniac, or any kind of product containing abrasive agent. Never try to clean up inside the appliance.
