RBCN1-BF
Exploded View Description: The diagram shows the handle assembly (1), cartridge (2), and aerator assembly (3) as distinct components. Dimensions are provided for the faucet body, base, and water lines.
Step 1: Turn Water Off
Turn off the hot and cold water at the supply valves.
Step 2: Mark Mounting Hole
Use a pencil to mark where the mounting hole will be drilled. The required hole diameter is Ø1 1/4"–Ø1 1/2" (Ø32 mm–Ø38 mm).
Step 3: Insert Faucet and Water Lines
Remove the mounting nut and seals, then insert the faucet and water lines through the drilled hole.
Step 4: Secure Faucet Base
Insert the water lines through the sealing rings and mounting bracket. Turn the mounting nut clockwise to tighten it against the seals and countertop. Then, use a screwdriver to tighten the screws in the mounting bracket to secure it in place. Overtightening may cause damage to the counter or faucet.
Step 5: Connect Water Lines
Connect the hot and cold water lines to their respective valves. Firmly hand tighten the hose to the corresponding valve and add a quarter-turn using the proper wrench. Tighten more if needed. Use plumber's tape or thread sealant to prevent leaks.
Step 6: Turn Water On and Check Faucet Operation
Turn on the faucet. Check for leaks and to ensure that turning the handle to the left provides hot water and to the right provides cold water.
Step 7: Clean Aerator
Use an aerator wrench to remove the aerator. Flush the aerator with water to remove any debris.
Step 8: Reinstall Aerator
Place the aerator back on the faucet. Use a wrench to tighten the aerator and prevent leaks. Overtightening may cause damage to the faucet.
