2.2 Installing Memory (RAM)
Steps:
- Open the clips on the DIMM slots.
- Align the notch on the memory module with the notch in the DIMM slot.
- Press down firmly on both ends of the memory module until the clips snap into place.
For details, refer to the motherboard manual.
3. Installing M.2 SSD
Steps:
- Peel off the protective film from the M.2 slot.
- Insert the M.2 SSD into the slot at an angle.
- Secure the M.2 SSD using the M.2 Q-Latch, screw, or anchor provided.
Ensure the module is secured with the M.2 Q-Latch, screw, or M.2 anchor.
For single-sided M.2 SSDs, attach the included M.2 rubber pad.
For details, refer to the motherboard manual.
4. Installing Cooling Devices
Choose one of the following cooling methods:
4.1 Air Cooler Installation
Steps:
- Install the mounting brackets onto the motherboard.
- Apply thermal paste to the CPU (if not pre-applied).
- Mount the CPU cooler onto the brackets and secure it.
- Connect the CPU cooler fan cable to the CPU_FAN or CPU_OPT header on the motherboard.
For details, refer to the cooler and motherboard manuals.
4.2 All-in-One (AIO) Cooler Installation
Steps:
- Install the mounting brackets onto the motherboard.
- Apply thermal paste to the CPU (if not pre-applied).
- Mount the water block onto the CPU and secure it.
- Connect the water block pump cable to the AIO_PUMP or W_PUMP header.
- Connect the radiator fan cable to the CPU_FAN or CPU_OPT header.
For details, refer to the cooler and motherboard manuals.
5. Installing the Motherboard into the Case
Steps:
- Install the I/O shield into the case opening (if your motherboard model includes one).
- Carefully place the motherboard into the case, aligning it with the standoffs.
- Secure the motherboard to the case using screws.
For details, refer to the motherboard and case manuals.
6. Connecting Case Fans and ARGB/RGB LEDs
Connect case fans and ARGB/RGB LED strips to the appropriate headers on the motherboard:
- ARGB Header: Typically has pins for Data, +5V, and Ground.
- RGB Header: Typically has pins for +12V, G, R, and B.
For details, refer to the motherboard manual.
7. Installing the Power Supply Unit (PSU)
Steps:
- Mount the PSU into its designated bay in the computer case and secure it with screws.
Ensure the PSU is securely fastened and that internal airflow is not obstructed.
Power Requirements: AC Input Voltage: 100-240VAC, 50/60Hz, 6-3A.
For details, refer to the case and PSU manuals.
8. Connecting Power Supply Cables
Connect the necessary power cables from the PSU to the motherboard and components:
- Motherboard Power: Connect the 24-pin ATX power connector and the 4/8-pin CPU power connector.
- Graphics Card Power: If your graphics card requires additional power, connect the appropriate PCIe power cable from the PSU.
- SATA Power: Connect to SATA drives (HDDs, SSDs).
For details, refer to the motherboard and PSU manuals.
9. Connecting Various Cables to the Motherboard
Connect the front panel connectors, USB headers, and audio headers:
- Front Panel System Header: Connect the power button, reset switch, HDD LED, and power LED cables.
- Front Panel Audio Header: Connect the front panel audio jacks.
- USB Headers: Connect front panel USB ports.
For details, refer to the motherboard manual.
10. Connecting Ethernet Cable / Wi-Fi Antenna
