Installation Instructions
Assembling Supporting Legs
To assemble the supporting legs, ensure the main tube and extension tube are securely locked. The stand features a tripod base. For maximum stability, always fully expand the supporting legs until they are completely open. This provides a stable foundation for the stand.
Diagram Description: Illustrates the stand's base with legs being extended outwards. Arrows indicate full deployment for stability.
Mounting the Extension Arm
The extension arm should be mounted exclusively to the main tube. Ensure the extension arm is aligned with one of the supporting legs. This alignment is crucial for stability.
Diagram Description: Shows the extension arm being attached to the main tube, with an arrow indicating alignment with a supporting leg.
Assembling Hook Units to Adaptor
The hook units are assembled to the hook unit adaptor using bolts and an Allen key. Follow these steps:
- Attach the hook unit adaptor (part 1) to the main tube using M6 x 1.0 mm x 20 L bolts. Use a 5mm Allen key ?.
- Attach the hook units (part 8-1) to the adaptor. Ensure they are securely fastened.
- Attach the handlebar stabilizer (part 9) to the lower hook unit.
Use a 5mm Allen key ? for all bolt fastenings. Recommended torque for tension bolts is 3 Nm or 26.5 in-lbs.

Adjusting Hook Position, Angle, and Height
The hook units can be adjusted for position, angle, and height using the adjusting knobs and bolts. Use a 5mm Allen key ? to tighten tension bolts if loose. The recommended torque for tension bolts is 3 Nm or 26.5 in-lbs.
- Hook Position: Adjust the horizontal position of the hooks.
- Hook Angle: Adjust the angle of the hooks for optimal bike placement.
- Hook Height: Adjust the vertical height of the hooks.
- 360° Rotation: The hook units can rotate 360° horizontally.
Diagram Description: Shows various adjustments for the hook units, including position, angle (30° indicated), height, and 360° rotation. A separate diagram indicates recommended torque.
Assembling and Adjusting Handlebar Stabilizer
The handlebar stabilizer attaches to the lower hook unit. Ensure it is installed correctly and perpendicular to the handlebar for optimal stability and to prevent damage.
To tighten or loosen the stabilizer, use the adjustment knob. If the knob is too tight, loosen the mounting bolts first using a 5mm Allen key ?.
Recommended torque for tension bolts is 3 Nm or 26.5 in-lbs.

Usage and Safety Notes
The TwoUp TuneUp can be used as a maintenance or storage bike stand.
- Never spin the rear wheel at high revolutions or apply your rear brake to a fast spinning wheel when your bike is installed.
- For added stability, use the handlebar stabilizer and hold the handlebar or seatpost with one hand when rotating pedals. Ensure pedals do not interfere with the stand.
- The Extension Arm is designed exclusively for the Topeak TwoUp TuneUp bike stand. Using it with other Topeak stands will void the warranty and may cause unsafe conditions.
- Always balance the bike on its hook and ensure the handlebar stabilizer is installed correctly (perpendicular to the handlebar). Incorrect installation may damage the stabilizer or your bike.
- Always remove bikes before breaking down the stand.
- Do not overtighten the adjusting knob. If it's difficult to loosen, loosen mounting bolts first.
- Always fully expand supporting legs for a stable foundation.
- Position the extension arm parallel with one of the supporting legs for stability.
- Ensure the stand is balanced at all times to prevent injury or damage when hanging or removing bikes.
- Two additional hook units can be mounted opposite the extension arm and existing upper hook unit (sold separately).
⚠️ WARNING: Never attempt to service a bicycle in the upper hook position. The stand may become unstable when working with bikes loaded in upper positions.
