Operation Instructions
This manual provides instructions for the Topeak PanoComputer Bluetooth Wireless Bike Computer.
Key Buttons:
- ▶️ Short Press (短按): Select value / Confirm setting
- ⏳ Long Press (長按): Enter setting mode / Switch modes
- Ⓜ️ Mode Key (功能鍵 M): Used for navigation and mode switching.
- ⚙️ Settings Key (設定鍵): Enters setting mode.
- ↩️ Reset Key (恢復鍵): Press for 3 seconds to reset to factory settings.
Operating Modes:
The PanoComputer can operate in two modes:
- Bike Computer Mode (碼錶模式): In this mode, Bluetooth sensors transmit data directly to the PanoComputer, which displays and records it.
- Smartphone Mode (智慧型手機模式): In this mode, Bluetooth sensor data is transmitted to the Topeak PanoBike App on your smartphone, and then displayed on the PanoComputer screen.
Switching Modes: Long press the Ⓜ️ (Mode) button for 6 seconds to switch between Bike Computer Mode and Smartphone Mode.
Initial Setup Overview:
The PanoComputer can be set up either directly on the unit (Method A) or via the PanoBike App (Method B).

Transmission Methods:
- Bike Computer Mode: Sensor data goes directly to the computer.
- Smartphone Mode: Sensor data goes to the PanoBike App, then to the computer.
Setup Method A: On the Bike Computer
Steps:
- Enter setting mode by long pressing the Ⓜ️ button.
- Use short presses of the Ⓜ️ button to cycle through values.
- Long press the Ⓜ️ button to confirm a value and proceed to the next option.
Settings Available:
- Bike Selection: Choose between ?A or ?B.
- Date Setting: Set the current date (e.g., 2013-11-27).
- Time Setting: Set the current time (e.g., 16:25).
- Units Setting: Select between kilometers (km) or miles (mi).
- Wheel Circumference Setting: Input the wheel circumference (e.g., 2146 mm).
- Total Distance Setting: Set the total accumulated distance (ODO).

Pairing Bluetooth Sensors
The PanoComputer supports pairing with optional Bluetooth sensors like speed/cadence and heart rate monitors.
Pairing Bluetooth Speed & Cadence Sensor:
- Enter setting mode.
- Navigate to "SCAN SENSOR".
- When the sensor icon flashes, rotate the crank or wheel to activate the sensor.
- The screen will display "1" upon successful pairing for ?A, or "2" for ?B.
- Press Ⓜ️ to save and return to the main screen.

Note: If no signal is found, ensure the sensor is installed correctly.
Pairing Bluetooth Heart Rate Monitor:
- Enter setting mode.
- Navigate to "SCAN SENSOR".
- When the sensor icon flashes, wear the heart rate strap.
- The screen will display "1" upon successful pairing for ?A, or "2" for ?B.
- Press Ⓜ️ to save and return to the main screen.

Note: For accurate heart rate detection, moisten the sensor area of the strap.
Sensor Connection Indicator: A Bluetooth symbol (?) appears when the computer is connected to or searching for Bluetooth sensors.
Ride Screen Display (Bike Computer Mode)
During a ride, the PanoComputer displays various data:
- Screen 1 (Current Data): Shows real-time information like speed, time, etc.
- Screen 2 (Average Data): Displays average speed, average cadence, etc.
- Screen 3 (Maximum Data): Shows maximum speed, maximum heart rate, etc.

Note: If no button is pressed for 10 seconds, the computer automatically returns to Screen 1.
Setup Method B: Via PanoBike App
This method requires downloading and installing the Topeak PanoBike App on your smartphone.
Steps:
- Open the PanoBike App and tap the "⚙️" (Setup) icon.
- Long press the Ⓜ️ button for 6 seconds to switch the computer to Smartphone Mode.
- In the app, tap "Setup" to connect the phone and computer.
- After connection, sequentially set all required fields in the app.
- Tap "Save" to complete the app settings.
- Long press the Ⓜ️ button for 6 seconds to return to Bike Computer Mode and finalize setup.

Note: After basic setup, follow Method A's "SCAN SENSOR" process to pair Bluetooth sensors.
Using Substitute Screen (Smartphone Mode)
This feature allows the PanoComputer to display data from the PanoBike App on your smartphone.
Steps:
- Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled.
- Long press the Ⓜ️ button for 6 seconds to switch the computer to Smartphone Mode.
- Open the Topeak PanoBike App and tap "START RIDE", then tap "START" to begin recording your ride.
- The ride data is synchronized and displayed on the PanoComputer screen.
- You can turn off your smartphone's screen to save battery; the app will continue to sync data to the computer.

Auto-Sleep/Wake:
- If the smartphone and computer connection is lost for 2 minutes, the computer will automatically enter sleep mode.
- The computer will wake up automatically if it detects the PanoBike App's Bluetooth signal, or you can wake it by a short press of the Ⓜ️ button.
Ending a Ride: Press the pause button and save the ride data.
Transferring Ride Data to PanoBike App
Ride data recorded on the PanoComputer can be transferred to the PanoBike App.
Steps:
- Ensure the computer and PanoBike App are connected and phone Bluetooth is enabled.
- Long press the Ⓜ️ button for 6 seconds to switch to Smartphone Mode.
- Open the Topeak PanoBike App and tap "History".
- Tap the "SYNC BIKE COMPUTER" button (represented by an icon). The computer's ride records will be read and transferred to the app.
- Long press the Ⓜ️ button for 6 seconds to return to Bike Computer Mode.

Important Note: Ride information transferred to the PanoBike App cannot be re-read from the PanoComputer.
Installation
Mounting the Computer:
- Attach the mounting bracket to the handlebar using a 3mm hex wrench.
- Slide the PanoComputer onto the bracket until it clicks securely.
Removing the Computer:
Press the release lever on the bracket to detach the computer.

* Cadence function requires optional Bluetooth Speed & Cadence Sensor (PanoBike Speed & Cadence Sensor).

Wheel Circumference Measurement:
You can set the wheel circumference either by looking up the size in the provided table or by measuring it:
- Method A: Refer to the table for tire size and corresponding circumference (e.g., 700x23C is 2096 mm).
- Method B: Measure the circumference by rolling the wheel one full rotation and marking the distance, or calculate using the formula: Circumference = Wheel Diameter x 3.14.

Default Wheel Circumference: 2096 mm. Please set your correct wheel circumference in the TOPEAK PANOBIKE APP.

Indicators and Functions
Low Battery Indicator:
When the low battery symbol (?) appears, please replace the battery soon.

Heart Rate Alert Function:
For safety, the PanoComputer features a heart rate alert. When your heart rate exceeds the set limit, the heart icon (❤️) on the computer will turn solid to indicate this. This function requires the Bluetooth Heart Rate Monitor.

Note: The upper limit for heart rate alerts must be set within the Topeak PanoBike App.
Battery Replacement:
- Remove the battery cover as shown in the diagram.
- Replace the CR2032 battery, ensuring the positive (+) side faces up.

Topeak PanoBike App Introduction
The Topeak PanoBike App offers comprehensive self-training and health management features. It is compatible with smartphones and can sync with the PanoComputer. Whether for professional training or casual exercise, its versatile functions provide complete sports management.
Compatibility: Compatible with iOS 5 and above, and Android OS 4.3 and above. Both apps are available for free download from the App Store and Google Play.

Important Notes and Precautions
- Resetting all data will erase all stored information.
- All data settings will be cleared when using the computer for the first time or after replacing the battery.
- After battery replacement, ODO and ART data will be removed. Please record ODO and ART data before replacing the battery.
- The product is water-resistant (IPX5) and can be used in the rain, but do not use it underwater.
- Do not expose the product to direct sunlight for extended periods when not in use, as this may cause malfunction.
- Do not disassemble or modify the product yourself.
- Regularly check the installation distance between the Bluetooth cadence sensor and its magnet.
- Do not use any cleaning agents to clean the computer.
- Always pay attention to safety while riding.
- Before each ride, ensure the computer and mounting bracket are securely installed.
- Dispose of batteries according to local regulations.
Troubleshooting

Product Warranty
To claim warranty service, the original purchase invoice must be presented. If not provided, the warranty period will be calculated from the manufacturing date. The warranty does not cover damage caused by user negligence, improper use, unauthorized modification, system alteration, or failure to follow instructions.
