Installation Instructions

1. Loosen the exhaust from the rubber and disassemble the bumper. Permanently remove the bumper supports.
2. Place the mounting pieces (g) and (h) against the outside of the chassis beams so that the points (A) and (C) match the provided screw-thread holes. Insert the bolts and the washers but do not tighten.
3. The points (B) match the provided drillings in the rear plate of the body work. Enlarge these holes till ø12.5mm. Assemble afterwards the exhaust support (i) with point (D) on the provided drilling in the body work and tighten firmly.
4. Place now the tow bar with points (B) and (B') against the rear plate so that point (B) matches the provided drilling. Insert the bolts, the washers and the nuts but do not tighten. Drill now points (B') with ø12.5mm and insert here also the bolts, washers and nuts. Tighten everything firmly.
5. Make an incision in the middle of the buffer beam of 60mm wide and 15mm deep measured as from the lower rim. Make an incision in the middle of the bumper of 60mm wide and 20mm deep measured as from the lower rim. Assemble the bumper and affix the buffer beam on the points (E) of the tow bar.
6. Assemble (*) and tighten firmly.

Important Notes

• Please consult your car dealer or owner's manual for the maximum permissible towing mass.
• Remove any bitumen coating or anti-vibration material on the fastening position for the tow bar.
• When drilling, be careful not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring, or fuel lines.
