This document provides installation instructions and component details for the GDW tow bar, reference 1445, designed for the Opel Vectra C Break model from 2004 onwards. The tow bar is of the T36 Escamotable type.

Technical Specifications:
- D-Value: Calculated based on vehicle and tow bar specifications, with a maximum limit of 9.30 kN.
- S-Value (Vertical load on ball): Maximum 80 kg
- Max. Towing Capacity: 1800 kg
Fitting Instructions
- Remove the exhaust from the rubber suspensors and the ground cover from the trunk.
- Position the mounting bases (3) and (4) against the bottom of the chassis, aligning points (A), (B), and (C) with the provided bore holes. These holes may have a dent; drill through these with Ø10.5mm and enlarge to Ø25mm. Remove any bitumen layer from the mounting area. Insert packing tubes (5), (6), and (7) into the chassis via the trunk. Place the left (1) and right (2) trunk plates onto the tubes and insert bolts through the trunk. Position the mounting pieces from the bottom and loosely attach the bolts.
- Align the tow bar with points (D) and (E) between the mounting plates (3) and (4) so the bore holes match. Insert bolts and tighten securely (refer to tightening specifications).
- Mount the T45 tow ball or the housing of the detachable system, along with the socket holder and security eye, onto the tow bar. Tighten all bolts securely (refer to tightening specifications).

Note: All bolts and nuts are quality 8.8.
Important Notes:
- Consult your vehicle's manual or dealer for the maximum permissible towing mass.
- Remove any bitumen coating or anti-vibration material from the fastening points before installation.
- Exercise caution when drilling to avoid damaging brake lines, electrical wiring, or fuel lines.

Clearance Requirements:
The clearance must conform to supplement VII, illustration 30 of guideline 94/20/EG. This ensures proper functioning and safety.
