Häfele Loox LED Drivers

This document provides instructions for the safe and proper installation, use, and maintenance of Häfele Loox LED Drivers.

Product Models and Specifications

The Häfele Loox LED Drivers are available for 12V and 24V systems, supporting various power outputs. They feature a constant voltage output and are Class II independent devices.

All drivers operate with an input voltage of 100-240V~ at 50/60 Hz.

Country-Specific Power Units

Various country-specific power units are available, identified by part numbers such as 833.89.000 (UK), 833.89.001 (AU), 833.89.002 (EU), 833.89.003 (US), 833.89.017 (US), 833.89.018 (US), 833.89.016 (JP), 833.89.005 (CN), 833.89.006 (KR), 833.89.007 (TW), 833.89.009 (EU), and 833.89.050 (US).

Electrical Safety

WARNING: Read instructions before assembly. Failure to comply can lead to electric shock, fire, or injury.

• Never open or modify product components. Do not insert foreign objects into openings to prevent electric shock or short circuits.
• Keep product components away from moisture, water, damp, aggressive, or potentially explosive areas.
• Never carry the product by the cable or pull it from the socket by the cable. Do not drill or damage the cable.
• Keep components away from heat, sharp edges, or moving parts.
• Install components out of reach of children.

Intended Use

• Assembly on or in furniture.
• Use in dry, interior spaces (Protection class: IP 20).
• Suitable for ambient temperatures between -20 °C and +45 °C (-4 °F to 113 °F).

Assembly

• Check the scope of delivery before assembly. Contact the manufacturer if parts are missing or damaged.
• Never use or assemble damaged or unauthorized parts.
• All assembly must be performed with the power supply switched off [i].
• Use appropriate fixing materials for the furniture material [1].
• Ensure the total wattage of connected LED lights and components does not exceed the driver's maximum output power [2].

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Disconnect the product from the mains before cleaning.
• Clean components with a soft, dry, fiber-free cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners, abrasive agents, or liquids.
• The product contains no user-repairable parts. If a defect occurs, the entire assembly must be replaced. Contact the manufacturer.

Troubleshooting

Lights connected to the driver flash:

• Ensure sufficient air circulation at the installation location.
• The connected wattage of the lights/devices exceeds the driver's output power. Reduce the connected wattage.

Disposal

• Ensure sufficient air circulation at the installation location.
• Do not stack drivers.
• Do not dispose of with household waste.
• Observe country-specific regulations.
