Installation Components

The Häfele Lighting OneCable Lighting System comprises various components for flexible installation:

• Profile (2500 mm):Dimensions: 16 mm width, 18.5 mm height.
  Part Numbers: 833.68.303, 833.68.304
• Profile Connector (straight):Dimensions: 45 mm length, 15 mm width.
  Part Numbers: 833.68.356, 833.68.357.
  Function: Stabilizes transitions between two profiles and secures vertically mounted luminaires.
• Corner Connector (1 plane):Dimensions: 85.2 mm, R40, R60.
  Part Numbers: 833.68.305, 833.68.306.
• Corner Connector (2 planes):Dimensions: 85.2 mm, R50, R34, 65 mm. Includes cover.
  Part Numbers: 833.68.307, 833.68.308.
• Feeder (includes tool, jig & end cap):
  0.2m lead: Part Numbers: 833.68.350, 833.68.351.
  1m lead: Part Numbers: 833.68.352, 833.68.353, 833.68.354, 833.68.355.
  Note: Product NOT for US market. Use only with 240V / 2x 120W Loox 5 driver (833.95.012).
• End Cap: Used to close the end of the profile.
• Flexible Cable:
  Custom cut: Part Numbers: 833.68.300, 833.68.340.
  5m: Part Numbers: 833.68.301, 833.68.341.
  10m: Part Numbers: 833.68.302, 833.68.342.

Basic Installation Notes:

The feeder requires a 5 mm hole. If necessary, prepare the hole for the feeder using a metal drill bit. If necessary, cut the profile for adjustment and remove any burrs.

Mounting screws are to be installed every 550 mm (21.65 inches) along the track.

Extended Installation / Individual Design

The system allows for individual design and flexible cable mounting.

Cable Mounting in Corner Connector (1 Plane)

1. Pre-bend the cable by hand.
2. Insert the outer edge of the cable first.
3. Press the inner edge flat into the profile using a rounded tool.

A 20 cm (7.9 inches) length of cable is required for each corner connector.

Use a profile connector to stabilize transitions between two profiles and to align them.

Installation Steps:

1. Begin at the feeder side: Insert the cable into the system.
2. Press the cable into the system.
3. Place the cover for each corner connector immediately.
4. Continue to the end of the track.
5. Cut the cable end with a sharp tool to avoid short circuits. Ensure clearances are maintained.

Feeder Installation

1. Step 4a: Insert and press the feeder into the profile end straight, without tilting.
2. Step 4b: Turn the locking tool by 90° to fix the feeder in the profile.
3. Step 4c: For safety reasons, remove the locking tool.

CAUTION! Sharp contact blades: risk of injury. ⚠️

A 9 mm space without cable is necessary for the feeder.

Feeder and Supply / Power Configuration

Feeder / Einspeiser ≤ 90 W

Both outer conductors of the cable share the system power of ≤ 90 W, allowing luminaires to be placed in any desired direction.

Diagram shows a single feeder connection (1 x ≤ 90W) with positive (➕) and negative (➖) terminals.

Feeder / Einspeiser 2 x 120 W

Each outer conductor of the cable handles a power of ≤ 120 W. Luminaires will be assigned either to input A or B based on their mounting direction.

DC Connection / DC-Anschluss

Ensure a minimum clearance of 35 mm.

Connects to a 24V DC Outlet/Auslass and Driver.

Mind polarity: ➕ / ➖.

For US/Canada: Supply only with a 24 Vdc Class 2 Power Unit.

Large OneCable Installation

For larger installations:

• Maintain a 10 mm insulation gap.
• The maximum cable length from the driver to the last luminaire is 20 m.
• If the installation length exceeds 20 m, use feeders on both ends of the system.

It is possible to use existing Häfele Loox 5 drivers for cabinet or furniture installations. For new installations, an accessory Häfele OneCable driver housing (Part Numbers: 833.68.309 / 833.68.310) can be fitted for a tidy appearance.

General Safety Instructions

• Read all instructions before proceeding.
• Do not install this track in damp or wet locations.
• Do not install any luminaire assembly closer than 6 inches (approx. 15 cm) from any curtain or similar combustible material.
• Disconnect electrical power before adding to or changing the configuration of the track.
• Do not attempt to energize anything other than lighting track luminaires on the track.
• Supply power only with a 24 Vdc Class 2 Power Unit.

Track Section Instructions

READ ALL OF THESE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING THE TRACK SYSTEM. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND REFER TO THEM WHEN ADDITIONS TO OR CHANGES IN THE TRACK CONFIGURATION ARE MADE.

• Mounting screws are to be mounted every 21.65 inches or 550 millimeters along the track.
• The track is not intended to be pendant mounted, such as by a stem or cable.
• Identify the track system series number or name and the track model or catalog number.
• Specify that the track is only to be used with other electrical fittings identified for use with the track system.
• Track sections intended to be field cut shall include provisions for the removal of burrs after cutting and shortening the bus bar.
