  • Unpack the appliance, observing the warnings on the packaging.
  • Install the appliance near the water connection and drain. Ensure connections are not altered after installation.
  • Do not carry the appliance by the door or control panel.
  • Ensure adequate clearance on all sides for easy cleaning access.
  • Make sure the inlet and outlet hoses are not kinked during installation.
  • Ensure the appliance does not rest on the power cord.
  • Uneven floors can be compensated for using the adjustable feet. Proper leveling ensures the door opens and closes smoothly.
  • If the door does not close properly, check if the appliance is stable on the floor and adjust using the feet if necessary.

Water Connection

  • Ensure the internal plumbing is suitable for dishwasher installation. It is recommended to install a filter at the water inlet to prevent damage from sediment (sand, clay, rust, etc.) which can cause yellowing and deposits after washing.

Inlet Hose

  • Do not use the inlet hose from an old dishwasher. Use the new hose supplied with the appliance. Rinse the new hose internally with water before connecting.
  • Connect the inlet hose directly to a water tap. Water pressure should be between 0.03 MPa and 1 MPa. If pressure exceeds 1 MPa, install a pressure-reducing valve.
  • Open the tap fully and check for leaks. For safety, close the tap after each wash cycle.
  • [i] ATTENTION: Some models feature an Aquastop water supply. This carries dangerous voltage. Do not cut the Aquastop hose. Do not allow the water supply to kink or roll up.
  • [!] Note: For safety reasons, close the water tap after each wash cycle.

Outlet Hose

  • The outlet hose can be connected directly to the drain or to the sink's drain fitting. It can also be directed into the sink using a special holder and a bent pipe. The connection should be at a height of at least 50 cm and a maximum of 110 cm above floor level.
  • If a drain hose longer than 4 meters is used, the dishwasher may not clean properly, and the manufacturer is not liable.

Electrical Connection

  • Connect the earthed plug to an earthed socket with the appropriate voltage. If earthing is not present, a qualified electrician must install it. The manufacturer is not liable for damages if the appliance is operated without earthing.
  • The internal installation must be equipped with a 10-16 A fuse.
  • The appliance's power supply must be from the mains with an AC voltage of 220-240 V. If the mains voltage is 110 V, a 3000 W transformer (110/220 V) must be connected before the appliance. Do not connect the appliance without a transformer.
  • For safety, always unplug the appliance after the wash cycle.
  • To avoid electric shock, never unplug the appliance with wet hands.
  • Always pull the plug, not the cable, when disconnecting the appliance from the power supply.

Preparing the Appliance for Use

Before First Use

  • Verify that the data on the rating plate matches your power supply.
  • Remove all packaging materials from the interior of the appliance.
  • Prepare the water softener. Fill the salt container with 2 kg of salt and add water until the container is full.
  • Fill the rinse aid dispenser.

Understanding Water Softening

For effective washing, the dishwasher requires soft water (low calcium content) to prevent white limescale deposits on dishes and inside the appliance, which can affect washing, drying, and rinse aid performance. The water softener removes ions responsible for water hardness. To maintain efficiency, the softener needs to be regenerated, which is done using dishwasher salt.

Filling with Salt

  • Use only dishwasher salt. Remove the lower cutlery basket and unscrew the salt container lid. Fill the salt container with salt (~1.5 kg) and water using the supplied funnel. Close the lid tightly. Refill salt when the salt indicator lights up.
  • Only use special dishwasher salt. Add water to the salt container only during the first use. Never use table or cooking salt.
  • The salt container's function may degrade over time. After starting the dishwasher, the salt container is refilled with water. Therefore, fill with salt before starting the dishwasher to rinse away any spilled salt. If no dishes are washed after refilling, run a short empty cycle to prevent corrosion from spilled salt.

Water Hardness Test

Dishwasher performance depends on water hardness. The appliance has a system to reduce water hardness. To check your local water hardness, contact your water supplier or use the provided test strip.

  • Open the test strip packaging.
  • Let tap water run for about 1 minute.
  • Hold the test strip in the water for approx. 1 second.
  • Shake off excess water from the test strip.
  • Wait 1 minute.
  • Determine the water hardness level based on the test strip results. The levels range from 1 (no calcium) to 6 (high calcium content).

Filling with Detergent

  • Open the detergent dispenser by pressing the latch (1). The dispenser has markings for correct dosage. The dispenser holds up to 30g of detergent.
  • Fill the dispenser with 25 cm³ of detergent for heavily soiled dishes or 15 cm³ for lightly soiled dishes (2). For dishes left unwashed for a long time or with dried-on residues, add 5 cm³ of detergent to the pre-wash compartment (a) and start the dishwasher. Adjust detergent amount based on soiling and water hardness.
  • Types of detergents: Phosphate-based with chlorine, phosphate-based without chlorine, or without phosphate and chlorine. Modern tabs are usually phosphate-free. Phosphates soften water; it's recommended to add salt even with 6°dH hardness. Phosphate-free detergents may cause white spots on dishes with hard water; increase detergent amount to prevent this. Chlorine-free detergents have less whitening effect and may not remove colored stains effectively; use a higher temperature program.
  • All-in-one detergents (e.g., 2-in-1, 3-in-1) generally provide satisfactory results under specific conditions. They contain rinse aid and/or salt. It is recommended to use regeneration salt with these products.
  • When using all-in-one products: Check the composition, ensure it matches your water hardness, follow product packaging instructions. Place tabs in the detergent dispenser, not the cutlery basket. Contact manufacturers for specific usage conditions. If results are unsatisfactory (e.g., Kalk- and water spots), contact the detergent manufacturer. Claims due to using all-in-one detergents are excluded from the warranty.
  • Recommended usage: For best results with all-in-one detergents, fill salt and rinse aid, and set water hardness and rinse aid level to the lowest setting.
  • Detergent tab solubility varies by manufacturer and temperature. Tabs are not recommended for short programs; use powder detergent instead.
  • Store detergents in a cool, dry place, away from children. Fill the dispenser just before switching on the appliance.

Closing the Detergent Dispenser

  • If dishes are not heavily soiled, you can use less detergent than recommended.
  • Press the dispenser lid (1) until it clicks shut (2).
  • If using dishwasher tabs, read the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging regarding placement (e.g., cutlery basket, detergent dispenser). Close the dispenser lid even if using tabs.

Rinse Aid Dispenser and Settings

Rinse aid prevents water spots, limescale, and streaks on dishes, and improves drying. Ensure the rinse aid dispenser is filled. Refill when the rinse aid indicator lights up.

  • Open the rinse aid dispenser by unscrewing the cap (1). Fill with rinse aid until the indicator turns dark (4). Replace and screw on the cap, aligning the markings. The indicator shows the level: full, 3/4, 1/2, refill needed, empty.
  • [!] Warning: Use only rinse aid for household dishwashers. Spilled rinse aid can cause excessive foaming and reduce wash quality. Wipe up any spills immediately.

  3. To confirm the setting, press the On/Off button.

Detergent Consumption

Use only detergents designed for household dishwashers. Detergents are available in powder, gel, and tablet form. Fill the dispenser before starting the dishwasher. Store detergents in a cool, dry place, away from children. Do not overfill the dispenser, as excess detergent can cause scratches on dishes and may not dissolve completely.

Loading the Dishwasher

Upper Cutlery Basket

The upper basket is designed for delicate items like glasses, cups, and plates. Dishes in the upper basket should be less soiled than those in the lower basket. Long forks, knives, and spoons can be placed horizontally so they do not block the spray arms.

Adjusting Upper Basket Height

The height of the upper basket can be adjusted to accommodate larger items in either basket. Lift the basket to the upper position or pull the lever upwards to lower the lower basket (refer to illustration).

Folding Cup Shelves

These shelves can be folded down to increase the capacity of the upper basket for glasses and cups.

Lower Cutlery Basket

The lower basket is for plates, bowls, pots, etc. Ensure dishes do not block the spray arm and that it can rotate freely. It is also suitable for larger items or those requiring more intensive washing, such as pots, pans, and lids. Always place dishes with their bottoms facing upwards to prevent water from pooling.

[i] Ensure dishes are loaded so they do not obstruct the spray arm.

Folding Lower Basket Elements

Elements in the lower basket can be folded to better accommodate pots and pans.

Cutlery Basket

Cutlery should be placed in the cutlery basket separately and in the correct orientation. Ensure items do not overlap for optimal washing results.

  • [!] Caution: Cutlery must not protrude from the cutlery basket.

Door Spring Adjustment

The door springs are factory-set for standard external doors. If installing a wooden front panel, you must readjust the spring tension. Turn the adjustment screw to tighten the regulator until the correct tension is achieved or the steel cable is released (see Figure 5). The spring tension is correct when the door, after opening fully, remains horizontal and lifts slightly with a gentle finger movement.

Dishwasher Installation Steps

  1. Install the furniture door onto the dishwasher door using the supplied handles. Use the template for handle adjustment.
  2. Adjust the spring tension using the Allen key by turning it clockwise to press the left and right door springs. Failure to do so may damage your dishwasher (Figure 2).
  3. Connect the cold water inlet hose.
  4. Connect the drain hose. Check the installation according to the diagram (Figure 6).
  5. Connect the power cord.
  6. Attach the condensation plate under the furniture worktop, ensuring it is connected to the edge of the worktop.
  7. Position the dishwasher at its final location (Figure 4).
  8. Level the dishwasher. The rear can be adjusted from the front by turning the central base screw with the Allen key (Figure 5A). For the front feet, use a flat-head screwdriver to adjust them until the dishwasher is level (Figure 5B).
  9. The dishwasher must be secured at its final location. This can be done in two ways:
  • A. Standard Worktop: Insert the mounting hook into the side gap and secure it to the worktop with wooden pins (Figure 6).
  • B. Marble or Granite Worktop: Secure the side with the pin. [Figure 7]

Leveling and Securing

  • The dishwasher must be leveled for proper operation of the baskets and efficient washing cycles.
  • Place a spirit level on the door and the basket rail inside the dishwasher to check alignment.
  • Level the dishwasher by individually adjusting the three leveling feet.
  • [!] When leveling the dishwasher, ensure it does not tip over.
  • Figure 7: Shows checking alignment with a spirit level.
  • Figure 8: Illustration of foot adjustment.
  • IMPORTANT: The maximum adjustable height for the feet is 50 mm.
