Safety Instructions

• General Safety:
  • Damaged power cords or plugs must be replaced by a professional service to avoid hazards.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or those lacking experience or knowledge, unless supervised and instructed by a responsible person. Ensure children do not play with the appliance.
  • Children aged 8 years and older, and supervised persons with limited abilities or lack of experience, may use the appliance if instructed on safe usage and aware of associated risks. Children must not play with or clean/maintain the appliance unless supervised.
  • Do not use if the power cord shows signs of damage or if the appliance has been dropped.
  • Avoid exposure to rain or humidity; do not use outdoors or with wet hands.
  • The appliance is not designed for use at altitudes exceeding 2000 meters above sea level.
  • To switch off completely, pull the plug from the wall outlet.
  • Caution: Escaping water or steam can cause burns. Do not touch any part of the kettle except the handle. Ensure the lid is properly closed.
  • This appliance is suitable for heating water only. Never pour other liquids into the kettle.

  • Do not immerse the appliance body in water or other liquids to prevent electric shock. If water spills on external parts, dry thoroughly before reconnecting. Do not touch wet surfaces connected to power.
  • When unplugging, pull the plug, not the cord.

Operation

Before first use, boil clean water several times.

1. Remove the kettle from the base, open the lid, and fill with water between MIN and MAX levels. Close the lid and return to the base.
2. Turn on the kettle using the button on the handle or base. The LED will indicate it is on.
3. The appliance switches off automatically when the water boils.
4. Use the hot water and place the kettle back on its base.
5. Note: Always use the kettle with the lid closed.
6. A safety device prevents operation without water or if water boils off. The kettle can be reused after cooling and refilling.

Cleaning

Always unplug and cool the appliance completely before cleaning.

• Do not immerse the kettle, cord, or base in water. Protect from moisture.
• Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth or mild cleaner. Avoid toxic cleaners.
• Clean the filter regularly by pressing the filter tab to remove it, then reinstall.
• Note: To maintain shine, avoid chemical, steel, wood, or abrasive cleaners on the exterior.
• Store the power cord wound under the base.

Descaling

If the appliance switches off before boiling, it requires descaling due to mineral deposits.

1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar and enough water to cover the bottom. Leave overnight.
2. Discard the mixture, fill with clean water to MAX, boil, and discard. Repeat until the vinegar smell is gone. Clean any spout residue with a damp cloth.
