11. QUICK SETUP

MONO MODE

Assembly:

  1. Both tops must be stacked above the subwoofer.
  2. Before assembly, ensure the safety levers are pushed inwards (not released).
  3. Align the locking systems and apply pressure to engage. A correct assembly results in the safety levers moving outwards with a "click".
  4. Push the safety levers inwards to arm the blocking systems of the two tops.

Illustration: Diagrams show the process of stacking a top speaker onto the subwoofer, highlighting the alignment of locking systems and the operation of safety levers. One diagram shows pushing levers inwards to arm the system.

Disassembly:

Push both safety levers to disassemble the cluster.

Illustration: Diagrams show the process of disassembling the stacked speaker system by releasing the safety levers.

STEREO MODE

Setup:

  1. Screw the supplied pole into the subwoofer's threaded hole and place the first top above the pole.
  2. The second top must be installed on an optional tripod stand with a standard 35 mm diameter pole, positioned at a suitable distance.
  3. Connect the tops to the subwoofer using the supplied speakON® cables.
  4. Connect audio sources to the inputs, with channel levels initially set to zero.
  5. Link any additional speakers.
  6. Insert the mains cable and turn on the speaker.
  7. Set the Mono/Stereo configuration via the Nettuno 10 mixer display (Setup Menu). In Mono mode, channels 5/6 and 7/8 are summed in mono.
  8. Adjust all volumes as desired.

Illustration: Diagrams show the STEREO MODE setup, with one top on the subwoofer's pole and the second top on a separate tripod stand. It also shows connecting cables.

12. INSTALLATION EXAMPLES

STEREO MODE

Place one top above the subwoofer using the supplied pole. The second top should be installed on an optional tripod stand with a standard 35 mm diameter pole.

  • The maximum height allowed between the speaker base and the floor for the first top is 150 cm (to be verified).
  • The maximum height allowed between the speaker base and the floor for the second top on the tripod stand is 170 cm (to be verified).
  • For other configurations, additional fastening (not supplied) may be necessary.

13. TROUBLESHOOTING

The speaker does not turn on:

  • Check the power supply upstream of the system.
  • Verify that the power cable with the VDE connector is correctly inserted.

The speaker outputs poor or distorted sound:

  • Adjust the source volume to be appropriate for the mixer section inputs.
  • Check that the cables used are not damaged. Use only good quality cables in good condition.

Background noise:

  • Turn off the power and disconnect all connected devices.
  • Connect one device at a time and check the signal from each source to identify the cause of the problem.
