This manual covers the Carpuride IPS touchscreen, featuring wireless CarPlay and automatic Android Auto for motorcycles. It is detachable, IP67 waterproof, and supports dual Bluetooth/TF audio.
Wiring Diagram
This section provides the basic wiring diagram for connecting the Carpuride CarPlay screen to a motorcycle.
Wiring Description: A fuse is connected in line with the red power wire. The screen unit has a detachable and waterproof connector. The screen displays a user interface with icons for Phone, Music, Maps, Messages, CarHome, Calendar, and Settings. A black wire (Ground Wire) connects to the motorcycle battery's negative terminal. A red wire (Power Wire) connects to the motorcycle battery's positive terminal via a fuse. An ACC power supply and negative terminal connection point is shown, leading to the motorcycle's CarPlay screen. Another connection point leads from the screen to the motorcycle's CarPlay screen. A motorcycle is depicted, indicating the device's application.
The red power wire of the CarPlay screen connects to the positive terminal of the battery via a fuse, while the black ground wire connects to the negative terminal.
Note: The exact wiring diagram may vary depending on the specific CarPlay screen and motorcycle model. It is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions and consult a professional if you are unsure about any aspect of the installation process.
Main Interface
This section describes the main interface of the Carpuride screen.
The screen displays a main interface with several icons: i-Play, A-Auto, Audio Output, Display Off, Phone, Music, Card, and Settings. There are also indicators for Bluetooth connection (√ for connected, X for disconnected), CarPlay connection (icon appears when Apple CarPlay is successfully connected), a Sun icon for brightness adjustment, a Wallpaper icon for changing the background image, and a Help icon for assistance.
Interface Functions:
- i-Play: For iPhone CarPlay.
- A-Auto: For Android Auto.
- Audio Output: Offers 2 sound modes: iPlay/A-Auto and BT Trans.
- Display Off: Refers to deactivating the display screen.
- Phone: Bluetooth phone. Before use, it is necessary to first connect to the phone's Bluetooth. This function cannot be used in CarPlay/A-Auto mode.
- Music: Bluetooth music.
- Card: Refers to the Micro SD card slot, supporting up to 64GB for playing music, videos, and images.
- Settings: Refers to the interface where users can access and configure other device-related functions.
- Volume Display: Shows the current volume level.
- EQ Effect: When playing music via SD or Bluetooth, click the EQ button to open or close the 'Loud' option to activate or deactivate the bass effect. You can also choose from sound effect modes such as rock, classical, jazz, and others.
Mounting Interface:
The mounting interface includes a parasol handle for installation and removal, a power button, and an SD card slot. The power button allows a short press to display the volume bar (do not long press to avoid shutdown) and a long press to power on/off. The SD card slot is designed to be waterproof and requires a tool to open and insert the TF card.
- Step 1: Fix the bracket to the handlebar with a Phillips screwdriver.
- Step 2: Fix the connecting rod to the bracket.
- Step 3: Insert the device and adjust its position as desired. Tighten the adjustment ring to secure it.
- Step 4: Installation is complete.
Connecting iOS Phone: Using i-Play
To connect your iPhone wirelessly to the Carpuride screen:
- Enable Bluetooth: Go to your iPhone's Bluetooth settings.
- Search and Connect: Search for the device's Bluetooth name, which is 'carpuride-xxxx'.
- Pair: Follow the prompts on your iPhone to connect.
- Authorize: Allow contacts and favorites sync if prompted.
- Use CarPlay: Select 'Use CarPlay' when prompted.
Note: For wired connection, connect your iPhone to the device via a high-quality data cable. Choose i-Play from Settings-Phonelink before using i-Play.
Connecting to Carpuride WiFi:
- Search for WiFi: On your iPhone, search for and select the 'carpuride-xxxx' WiFi network.
- Enter Password: Enter the password '66666666'.
- Join: Click 'Join'.
- Successful Connection: The connection will be established.
Connecting Android Phone: Using A-Auto
To connect your Android phone wirelessly to the Carpuride screen:
- Install Android Auto: Install the Android Auto application from the Google Play Store on your Android phone.
- Enable WiFi: First, open WiFi in your phone's settings.
- Search and Connect: Search for connected devices; find the corresponding 'carpuride-xxxx'.
- Enter Password: The corresponding password will appear automatically upon connection.
- Pair: Click 'Pair'.
- Active Status: 'Active' will be displayed once the connection is successful.
Note: Only supports Android 11 or above systems and 5GHz WiFi Android phones. For wired connection, choose A-Auto from Settings-Phonelink before using A-Auto. Connect your phone to the device via a high-quality data cable.
Volume Adjustment
The Carpuride screen offers various volume controls:
- Media/Phone: Controls main volume, music volume, and phone call volume.
- Voice: Controls Siri/Google voice commands, calls, and navigation volume.
- Music Volume: When listening to music, display the volume bar and drag the first main volume control bar to adjust the music volume.
- Phone Volume: When making a phone call, the volume control adjusts the call volume. It will only be displayed during calls.
- Separate Volume Sliders: A short press on the power button will display separate volume sliders. The voice volume controls Siri and Google voice commands/calls/navigation.
- When navigation provides voice guidance, the volume adjustment controls navigation volume.
- When Siri/Google Assistant speaks, the volume adjustment controls the assistant's voice volume.
Remark: When selecting iPlay/Auto sound output mode, volume adjustment must be done via the phone, and adjusting the device's volume will have no effect.
Two Ways to Output Sound (Audio Output)
1. iPlay/Auto (BT Audio)
Connect your phone to your helmet or Bluetooth headset, and use CarPlay or Android Auto to play audio via the helmet or Bluetooth headset.

Remark: Use phone calls/voice commands with your helmet or Bluetooth headset.
Important: Ensure your Bluetooth helmet or headset has microphones for phone calls and voice commands.
2. BT Trans
Connect your device and your helmet or earphone via Bluetooth.
The screen displays a 'BTSearch' option and lists discovered Bluetooth devices, such as 'EDIFIER W200BT Plus' and '1. SFH_BTP-P39_C756', with 'Disconnect' options.
Note:
- The helmet or earphone must be turned on and in an active state to be discovered by the Carpuride screen for pairing.
- Do not connect your mobile phone to the Bluetooth helmet or earphones, as this could interfere with the pairing process.
Other Functions
How to Use the EQ Function:
With the EQ effect, when listening to music via SD and Bluetooth Music, click EQ to open or close 'Loud' to activate/deactivate the bass effect. You can also choose sound effect modes such as rock, classical, jazz, and others.
The screen displays an equalizer interface with frequency bands (50Hz, 125Hz, 315Hz, 630Hz, 1000Hz, 2000Hz, 4000Hz, 6300Hz, 16000Hz, 20000Hz) and sliders to adjust gain. Options for 'Loud', 'Pop', and 'Reset' are visible.
How to Use the SD Card:
The audio and video function of the SD card is solely for playing content from the TF card. Please first insert the TF card into the TF card port of this product. This function supports lossless sound quality or high-definition video playback.

How to Use Bluetooth Music:
Bluetooth music is the Bluetooth playback function for Android phones or iOS devices. This function can only be used before connecting to other interconnected systems. If other interconnected systems are used, this function will be disabled.

The screen displays a music playback interface with track information ('Unknow'), playback controls (play/pause, skip forward/backward), and a progress bar. Options for single loop, previous/next track, pause/resume playback, and playlist are available.
How to Use Bluetooth Call:
Bluetooth call is the Bluetooth phone function for Android phones or iOS devices. This function can only be used before connecting to other interconnected systems. If other interconnected systems are used, this function will be disabled.
The screen displays a phone dialer interface with a numeric keypad (0-9, *, #), options for Keyboard, Contacts, History, and Setup. A Bluetooth symbol with a cross indicates that the function is disabled.
Remark: Ensure your headset or Bluetooth headset has microphones for phone calls.
How to Adjust Brightness:
Click the sun icon in the upper right corner to manually adjust the screen brightness.
The screen displays the main interface with a sun icon highlighted, indicating the brightness adjustment option.
Settings
Language: Multiple languages are available and can be switched.
Restore Factory Settings: Resets the original configuration.
Remark: If you feel the product does not meet your expectations after use and wish to return it, please click 'Restore Factory Settings' to delete your connection and usage records.
System Version: If you need to provide version information for assistance, please send this page.
The screen displays a settings menu with options for 'Language' (set to English), 'Restore factory settings', and 'System Version'.
