NOTE: If you select iPlay/Automatic Audio Output mode, volume control must be done via the phone. At this time, the audio is transmitted directly from the mobile phone's Bluetooth to the Bluetooth helmet. The device does not process the audio, so the device's volume and equalizer cannot be adjusted.
Two Types of Audio Output
1. iPlay/Auto (BT Audio)
Screenshot of the Carpuride interface showing 'iPlay/Auto' and 'BT Trans' options, with a helmet icon and text 'Please use your phone to connect headphones'.
- Connect Carpuride Moto CarPlay or Android Auto successfully to your phone.
- Click "Audio Output" and select "iPlay/Auto".
- Additionally, connect your phone to Bluetooth headphones to play audio.
Screenshot of the Carpuride main interface with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto icons, and a Bluetooth headset/helmet icon.
Note:
- When using iPlay/Auto output, be sure to disconnect and delete the Bluetooth headphone connection records from BT Trans.
- If you only disconnect the connection without deleting it, the connection may be automatically re-established the next time the device is turned on, which leads to problems with the Carpuride Moto functionality.
2. BT Trans
1) Single-Person Connection Mode: Bluetooth 1
Screenshot of the Carpuride interface showing 'BT Trans' options with 'BTSearch' button and a list of connected devices (e.g., 'SFH_BTP').
- Go to "Audio Output" and access the BT Trans interface. Select BT Trans, turn on the motorcycle helmet, and click "Carpuride Moto BT Search" to search for and pair the motorcycle helmet or headphones.
- If you click the "Disconnect" button and see "Connected", it means the connection was successful.
- If you use the BT Trans output, make sure your phone is not connected to BT headphones. If a connection exists, disconnect and delete the pairing records of the BT headphones from the phone's Bluetooth list.
Screenshot of the Carpuride main interface with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto icons, and a Bluetooth headset/helmet icon.
Note:
- The motorcycle helmet must be in red-blue flashing mode and must not be connected to another device.
- If you want to switch from BT Trans to iPlay/Auto mode, first disconnect the Bluetooth connection in BT Trans. Click the "Connected" button of the Bluetooth device in BT Trans. Once "Disconnected" is displayed, click the "Delete" button to remove it.
2) Two-Person Connection Mode: Bluetooth 1 + Bluetooth 2
Screenshot of the Carpuride interface showing 'BT Trans' options with 'BTSearch' button and a list of connected devices (e.g., 'AA-BT Connected', 'CARPURIDE_ Connected', 'SFH_BTP', 'DENAGO', 'MB08'). Numbered labels (1, 2, 3) indicate connection status and intercom function.
- Indicates that BT 1 (Bluetooth Headset) is connected. If the device is only connected to BT 1, you can make calls and listen to music via this BT 1.
- Indicates that BT 2 (Bluetooth Headset) is connected. If the device is simultaneously connected to BT 1 and BT 2, music and audio can be shared, but calls and voice assistant transmissions can only be realized via BT 1. BT 2 cannot realize the call and voice assistant transmission function.
- If the device is simultaneously connected to BT 1 (Bluetooth Headset 1) and BT 2 (Bluetooth Headset 2), click this symbol to activate the intercom function. BT calls can be made between BT 1 and BT 2. If you want to deactivate the intercom function, simply click this symbol again.
Note:
- If you only connect one Bluetooth headset, please click BT 1 to search for a connection. If you connect BT 2, the device will not work. Since BT 1 is the primary BT for standard device connection, it is recommended to connect BT 1 as the main device.
- The effective range of BT is about 10 m and is mainly used for intercom between rider and passenger. Therefore, it is recommended that two people use it on the same motorcycle.
- Intercom mode and BT Trans mode cannot be used simultaneously. If you turn on Intercom mode, music playback in BT Trans mode will be automatically muted. After ending the Intercom function, music playback will automatically resume normally. If you use the Intercom function of your own headset, this will not be affected.
How to Connect the Intercom Function
- On the home screen, click the "Audio Output" symbol, click "BT Trans" and connect BT 1 and BT 2.
- Return to the main interface, click the intercom symbol 🔊 on the home screen, turn on the intercom mode 🔊 and BT 1 and BT 2 can make BT calls. Click the intercom symbol 🔊 again. The symbol will turn gray 🔊 and the intercom mode will be deactivated.
