Main Menu Overview

The main menu provides access to various functions:

• 1. Apple CarPlay: iPhone CarPlay
• 2. Android Auto: A-Auto
• 3. Apple AirPlay: iPhone MirrorLink
• 4. Android Cast: Android MirrorLink = Autolink
• 5. WLAN Video: Connect your phone to the Carpuride W903 WLAN and scan the QR code to download the "6-frame" app. This app allows viewing recorded or live videos stored on the W903 on your phone.
• 6. Audio Output: Features 4 sound modes: built-in 42W speaker, BT-Audio, FM, AUX. (Note: Supports audio playback via CarPlay or A-Auto; does not support USB or TF audio playback via car speakers).
• 7. Video Playback: Click to play saved recorded video.
• 8. Settings: Adjust display settings, camera settings, and system settings.
• 9. Video Signal: Red indicator ? signifies recording in progress; White indicator ⚪ signifies recording is off.

Device Features

• 10. Card (TF/SD): Supports up to 64GB TF and SD cards, primarily for camera data storage. Music, videos, or other files cannot be played directly from a TF card.
• 11. Hotspots: Connect to hotspots.
• 12. Bluetooth: Connect to Bluetooth devices.
• 13. Home: Returns to the main screen.
• 14. Sun Symbol: Adjusts screen brightness automatically or manually.
• 15. Volume Display: Controls the device's speaker volume, not the car's radio system.
• 16. Traffic Record: Activates the dashcam function.

Using Apple CarPlay

Instructions

How to set up:

1. Click the Apple CarPlay widget on the SmartScreen.
2. Pair your iPhone with the SmartScreen via Bluetooth (e.g., Carpuride_BT-xxx).
3. When the phone prompts "Use CarPlay with "SmartScreen"?", select "Use CarPlay".

Tips:

• The initial connection may take longer.
• Only iPhone phones are supported.
• Bluetooth disconnects automatically after a successful connection.

Click the Apple CarPlay icon on the Carpuride screen and follow the on-screen instructions to connect and use Apple CarPlay. Visual guides illustrate the process.

Using Android Auto

Instructions

How to set up:

1. Click the Android Auto widget on the SmartScreen.
2. Pair your phone with the SmartScreen via Bluetooth (e.g., Carpuride_BT-xxx).

Tips:

• Requires an Android phone running Android 11 or higher and 5GHz Wi-Fi.
• Download the latest Android Auto application on your phone.

Click the Android Auto icon on the Carpuride screen and follow the on-screen instructions to connect and use Android Auto. Visual guides illustrate the process.

Using Apple AirPlay

Instructions

Connection steps:

1. Use your iPhone to connect to the WLAN. The WLAN name is: CARPURIDE_WIFI-xxxx.
2. The WLAN password is "12345678".
3. In the iPhone's control center, select "SmartScreen" under screen mirroring.

Notes:

• Only iPhones are supported.
• This function does not support Bluetooth connectivity.

Before using AirPlay, turn off Bluetooth and WLAN in iPhone settings simultaneously. After disconnecting CarPlay, connect the iPhone only to this product's WLAN. Bluetooth must remain off. Enter "12345678" for the WLAN password.

The wireless Carpuride screen supports the wireless Apple AirPlay function.

Using Android Cast

Instructions

How to set up:

1. Select the "Android Cast" option.
2. Scan the code to download, install, and run the "TcLink" application.
3. Select the "Wi-Fi Direct" connection mode and connect this device (e.g., CARLINK-xxxx).

Tips:

• Only supports Android phones.

Click the Android Cast icon on the Carpuride screen and follow the on-screen instructions to use Android mirroring. Visual guides illustrate the process.

About the Camera

Instructions

How to set up:

1. Scan the QR code to download the corresponding app (e.g., Viidure).
2. Connect to the local WLAN according to the app instructions. The WLAN name is: CARPURIDE_WIFI-xxxx and the password is: 12345678.
3. The device uses an automatic disconnection mode when not connected for a long time.

Click the WLAN Video icon on the Carpuride screen and follow the on-screen instructions for using the video function. Visual guides illustrate the process.

Activating Dashcam Recording Mode (Front and Rear Camera)

Insert a 64GB TF card and connect the 2.5mm rear camera. Then, click the icon on the main interface to enter dashcam mode. The device will automatically display recordings from the front and rear cameras in a split screen.

Recording Controls:

• 1. Start Recording: Red circle ?; Pause Recording: White circle ⚪.
• 2. Lock Symbol ?: Videos can be locked or unlocked for easy retrieval after recording starts.
• 3. Camera Symbol ?: Captures and saves recordings from the front and rear cameras.
• 4. Back Symbol ↩️: Returns to the main interface.
• 5. Phone Symbol ?: Returns to the CarPlay or A-Auto interface.
• 6. Microphone ?: Turns audio recording on or off.

Split-Screen Display:

If split-screen is not needed, you can independently select the front or rear camera view. Swipe with your hand to switch to full-screen mode.

Playing Dashcam Videos

Dashcam videos can be accessed via the "Video Playback" option (item 7 in the main menu) or through the dashcam recording controls.
