Assembly Steps
Step 1
Insert 4x Cam Lock Screws (Part #118331) into the designated holes on the two main side panels.
Step 2
Insert 4x Wooden Dowels (Part #101339) into the upper holes on the inside of the side panels. Insert 4x Cam Lock Screws (Part #118331) into the lower holes on the inside of the side panels.
Step 3
Insert 4x Cam Locks (Part #118224) into the large holes on the ends of the shelves. Ensure the arrow on the cam lock faces the edge of the shelf.
Step 4
Attach the shelves to the side panels. Align the cam lock screws on the side panels with the cam locks on the shelves. Insert 8x Wooden Dowels (Part #101339) into the remaining holes on the side panels.
Step 5
Attach the horizontal support pieces for the back panel to the rear of the unit using 2x Screws (Part #100001) and 4x Washers (Part #100823).
Step 6
Slide the shelves into their positions between the side panels.
Step 7
Secure the shelves. From the outside of the side panels, insert 2x Screws (Part #1000214) into each shelf. From the inside of the shelves, insert 10x Cam Locks (Part #109041) into the corresponding holes and tighten them to secure the shelves.
Step 8
Place the two back panels onto the rear of the assembled frame.
Step 9
Secure the back panels. Hammer 4x nails into the top edge of the back panels, approximately 5mm (1/4 inch) from the edge. Hammer another 4x nails into the bottom edge of the back panels, approximately 5mm (1/4 inch) from the edge.
Step 10
Complete the frame assembly. Hammer 11x nails into the top edge of the back panels and 11x nails into the bottom edge of the back panels to fully secure them.
Step 11
Attach the wall attachment brackets. Use 2x Screws (Part #106989) to attach the brackets to the top rear of the bookcase. Then, use appropriate screws and plugs (not included) to securely fasten the bookcase to the wall. Ensure the unit is stable and upright.
Final Check
The assembled bookcase should be stable. Ensure it is securely attached to the wall to prevent tipping.
Maximum load per shelf: 15 kg (33 lb).
