Wall Mounting Instructions
It is essential to secure the furniture to the wall using the provided anti-tip restraint to prevent serious injury from tipover. The following methods apply:
Wall Types and Drilling:
- Type A (Solid Wall): Use a Ø 5/16" (8 mm) drill bit. Insert the screw without a wall plug.
- Type B (Hollow Wall): Use a Ø 5/16" (8 mm) drill bit. Insert the wall plug (e.g., 100823 or 106989) into the wall, then insert the screw.
- Type C (Solid Wood): Use a Ø 1/8" (3 mm) drill bit. Use the screw without a wall plug.
Procedure:
Follow the diagrams to attach the anti-tip hardware to the wall and the furniture. Ensure the furniture is securely fastened. If you are uncertain about wall types or installation, seek professional advice. [Diagrams illustrate drilling into different wall types, inserting plugs, and attaching the bracket to the furniture and wall.]
