The Birdfy Hum Feeder Duo is a smart bird feeder with an integrated camera that allows you to observe and identify birds in your backyard.

Charging
Charge for 10 hours before use.
The camera does not come fully charged due to safety regulations. Before using it for the first time, please charge it for 10 hours with the charging cable inside the box (DC5V / 2A).

Downloading the Birdfy App
Follow the in-app instructions to set up your Birdfy device.
Scan the QR code to download the Birdfy app from the App Store or Google Play.
Pair your Birdfy device with the app:
Bird Identification:
- If you have the Birdfy Hum Feeder Duo with Lifetime Free AI, the AI bird identification feature is included and activated automatically, with no further action needed.
- If you have the Birdfy Hum Feeder Duo with AI by Subscription, you need to subscribe on my.birdfy.com to access this feature.

Outdoor Installation
Use the provided S hook to hang the Birdfy Hum Feeder Duo outdoors. Ensure it is securely attached to a branch or pole.
Ant Moat for Solar Panel Installation:
- Attach the ant moat to the solar panel cable.
- Connect the solar panel cable to the feeder.
- Ensure the ant moat is positioned correctly to block ants.
- Connect the feeder to a power source if not using solar power.
Adding Nectar
- Remove the bottle from the feeder base.
- Unscrew the cap and fill the bottle with nectar.
- Screw the cap back on and reattach the bottle to the feeder base.
- Ensure the bottle is securely fastened.
Cleaning
Regular cleaning is essential for the health of the birds and the longevity of your feeder.
- Disassemble the feeder components.
- Wash the bottle, base, and perch with warm, soapy water. Use the large brush for the bottle and the mini brush for smaller parts.
- Rinse all parts thoroughly.
- Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly.
- Keep out of dishwasher.
