Features

Product Packaging

The product packaging includes the LX-Q3 main and slave speakers, a power cord, a user manual, zip ties, bushing parts, an antenna, and an Allen wrench. Diagrams illustrate the wiring connections, including SAE power connectors, external radio antenna connectors, USB ports, and turn signal wires.

Installation Instructions

Step 1: Install the Speakers

Before installation, connect the power cord or SAE connector to a 12V power source to test the speaker. Choose a suitable location on the handlebar, using the appropriate bushing and screws to mount the speakers. The main speaker is installed on the left side of the motorcycle, and the slave speaker is installed on the right side.

Diagram description: Two speakers are shown mounted on handlebars. A close-up view details the ball stand and mounting screws. A note indicates that two screws at the base of the speaker allow for angle adjustment using the Allen Wrench.

Step 2: Connect the Speakers

Plug the speaker connector of the main speaker into the slave speaker. Ensure that the two arrows on each connector align for the correct connection.

Diagram description: The wiring between the main and slave speakers is illustrated. A magnified view shows the main speaker connector and slave speaker connector with arrows indicating proper alignment for connection.

Step 3: Connect to the Turn Signal Light

Peel off the insulated wrap of the purple (right) and blue (left) wires. Connect these wires to the corresponding turn signals on the motorcycle, paying attention to the correct connection for left and right turn signals. The purple wire connects to the right turn signal to control the slave speaker's light, and the blue wire connects to the left turn signal to control the main speaker's light.

Diagram description: The connection of turn signal wires is shown. The purple wire is designated for the right turn signal (slave speaker light), and the blue wire for the left turn signal (main speaker light). Arrows indicate the connection direction.

Step 4: Connect SAE Power Source

Connect the red terminal of the power cord to the positive pole (+) of the motorcycle battery and the black terminal to the negative pole (-). Plug the SAE connector into the SAE connector of the main speaker. Secure and hide any excess cables.

Diagram description: The connection to the motorcycle battery is illustrated. The red wire connects to the positive terminal, and the black wire to the negative terminal. The SAE connector links to the main speaker. A 10A fuse is incorporated into the power cord. A note advises checking the fuse if the speaker fails to power on.

Step 5: Install FM Radio Antenna

Connect the external radio antenna to the antenna connector on the main speaker. Find a suitable location on the motorcycle and use the included 3M tape to mount the antenna. Extend the antenna for optimal FM reception when in use.

Diagram description: The main speaker's antenna connector and the external radio antenna connector are shown. An arrow indicates to tear off the 3M tape for mounting.

Then, turn on Bluetooth on the second mobile phone or audio source, search for LX-Q3, and click to pair. The LED light will flash blue quickly. After pairing, the blue LED light will fade in and out. If the speaker is not connected to a device within 5 minutes, it will automatically power off.

USB Mode

Switch Bass Enhancement Sound Mode

In USB and Bluetooth mode, double-click the Volume Down Button to cycle through EQ sound modes: Loud Tune and Bass Enhancement. The default mode is Loud Tune for outdoor use, and the last setting is not saved in memory.

In Bluetooth mode, two sets of LX-Q3 speakers can simultaneously play the same music through the connected mobile phone.

Turn on music sharing mode

When both sets of Q3 speakers are in Bluetooth standby mode, triple-click the power button of the first Q3 main speaker. It will automatically search and connect with the second Q3 speaker. After the two Q3s are connected, the first Q3 speaker can stream music and control all functions (play/pause, volume up/down, change songs). The second Q3 speaker can only control volume up and down.

Turn off music sharing mode

Triple-click the power button to turn off the Music Sharing mode. Note: The music sharing function is only applicable when you have 2 sets of Q3 speakers and can only be used in Bluetooth mode.
