Quick Start Guide

Device Overview

The Bobtot SoundAir speaker features:

Buttons and Ports

Power/TWS/Mode Button
  • Short press to switch mode.
  • Double click to activate TWS mode, connect or disconnect with two speakers.
  • Long press and hold to turn the speaker on/off.
Play/Pause/Answer Button
  • Short press to pause/play the music.
  • Short press to accept an incoming call.
  • Double click to call back the last number.
  • Long press to reject an incoming call.
  • Long press to disconnect Bluetooth.
Volume Down/Previous Button
  • Short press to turn down the volume.
  • Long press to go to the previous song.
Volume Up/Next Button
  • Short press to turn up the volume.
  • Long press to go to the next song.

Charging Your Device

Plug the included USB Type-C cable into the speaker's charging port and connect the other end to a power adapter (not included). Allow approximately 3.5 hours for a full charge.

  • When the battery is low and the red light blinks, please charge it.
  • The indicator light is red while charging.
  • The red light turns off when fully charged.

Note: Bobtot recommends using a USB wall adapter with a DC5V=1A output.

Initial Setup (Bluetooth Pairing)

  1. Once your speaker is fully charged, press and hold the Power button until you hear a voice prompt indicating the device has entered BT pairing mode.
  2. On your smartphone or tablet, search for the BT device named "Bobtot SoundAir" and tap to connect.
  3. A prompt will play once pairing is successful.

Notes:

  • If the speaker is turned on but not connected, it will automatically shut down after 10 minutes.
  • If connected but no playback occurs, it will automatically shut down after 20 minutes.

TWS Sync Mode

  1. Long press the Power button (approximately 2 seconds) on both speakers to turn them on. The blue light will flash.
  2. Quickly double-click the Power button on any one speaker. A prompt sound "connected" indicates the speakers have entered pairing mode, and the indicator light of one speaker will turn solid blue.
  3. On your smartphone or tablet, search for the BT device named "Bobtot SoundAir" and connect it. You will hear the sound "connected" again, indicating successful connection. You can now enjoy music with two speakers together.

Notes:

  • In TWS Mode, turning off one speaker will turn off both.
  • Double-clicking the Power button will disconnect TWS mode.

Light Status

Mode Indicator light:

  • Blue light flash: In BT pairing or TWS pairing status.
  • Solid blue light: In TWS or BT connection status.
  • Red light flash: Low battery.
  • Solid red light: Charging.
  • Red light off: Full charge.

Hands-Free Calling

  • Volume Down/Previous Button: Short press once to decrease volume.
  • Volume Up/Next Button: Short press once to increase volume.
  • Multi-function Button (Play/Pause/Answer):
    • Short press to accept an incoming call.
    • Short press again to hang up.
    • Double click to call back the last number in any mode.
    • Long press to reject an incoming call.
    • During a call, long press for 2 seconds to switch between phone talking or speaker talking.

Resetting Your Device

If your speaker is not operating properly, you may reset it. To do so, press and hold the Power button for approximately 8 seconds until the speaker powers off, and then power it on again as usual.
