Assembly and Adjustments
Depth Adjustment
Follow these steps to adjust the cutting depth:
- Loosen the main locking knob on the router body.
- Rotate the fine adjustment knob to set the desired cutting depth.
- Adjust the router body up or down to the desired position, then retighten the locking knob.

Using the Edge Guide
The edge guide is used to maintain a consistent distance from the edge of the workpiece during routing.
- Attach the edge guide assembly (B) to the router base.
- Position the edge guide against the edge of the workpiece.
- Use the adjustment knob on the edge guide to set the desired offset distance from the edge.
- Secure the edge guide in place by tightening its locking mechanism.
Diagrams show the attachment of the edge guide, its adjustment via a knob to set the offset distance, and the final locking. Measurements A (depth) and B (offset from edge) are indicated.
Installing and Removing Router Bits
Always ensure the router is unplugged from the power source before changing bits.
- Press and hold the spindle lock button to prevent the spindle from rotating.
- Insert the router bit (D, E, or F) into the collet (G). Ensure the bit is fully seated.
- Using the provided wrench (I), tighten the collet nut (G) onto the spindle. Turn until securely tightened. A "CLICK!" sound indicates proper locking.
- To remove a bit, loosen the collet nut using the wrench while holding the spindle lock button.
Diagrams demonstrate using the wrench to tighten the collet nut while pressing the spindle lock button. Icons indicate correct bit insertion and collet usage.
Circle Routing
The edge guide can be configured to guide the router along a curved path or to cut precise circles.
Diagrams show the router equipped with the edge guide. The guide is positioned to follow a curved edge or to trace a circular path, with the router bit cutting into the material.
Operation
- Connect the router's power cord to a suitable electrical outlet. [Power plug symbol]
- Turn the router ON or OFF using the power switch located on the unit. [Power switch detail shown]
