Intelbras FS 3010 V Solenoid Lock User Manual

This document provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the Intelbras FS 3010 V solenoid lock.

Introduction

Congratulations on acquiring an Intelbras product. The FS 3010 V solenoid lock is designed for glass doors with glass frames. Manufactured with high-strength aluminum and brushed stainless steel, it can be installed on doors that open inwards or outwards, to the right or left. It is suitable for standard market doors with perforations or cutouts.

Preventive Maintenance

To ensure the correct functioning of the lock, it is recommended to clean its actuation system components every 6 months. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the lock.
  2. Remove the screws holding the bolt cover.
  3. Remove the bolt cover.
  4. Remove the bolt.
  5. Remove the bolt bushing.
  6. Clean the bolt and bushing with a clean cloth and alcohol.
  7. Clean the cover and the movement channel (regions shown in the image below) with a clean cloth and alcohol.
  8. Reassemble the bushing into the lock base.
  9. Mount the bolt in the lock's movement channel.
  10. Place the bolt cover on the lock base and secure the assembly.

Installation

The FS 3010 V solenoid lock is designed to work with most electronic intercoms or power supplies with a 12 Vdc / 1 A output.

Obs.: Never plug directly into the mains (110/220 V).

Doors with Cutouts or Perforations

The FS 3010 V lock can be installed on doors with either cutouts or perforations.

Strike Plate Installation on Doors with Cutouts

For doors opening outwards: Pay attention to the installation of the strike plate mirror.

For doors opening inwards: In this application, do not use the strike plate mirror on the door; it should be fixed with the lock.

Obs.: The adhesive foam should be attached to the lock handle, not the glass.

Lock Installation on Fixed Glass with Cutout

For doors opening outwards:

Strike Plate Installation on Doors with Perforations

For doors opening outwards: Pay attention to the installation of the strike plate mirror.

Connections

The FS 3010 V solenoid lock is designed to work with most electronic intercoms or power supplies with a 12 V / 1A output, and with access controllers that operate with 12 V and have a timed dry contact output.

Timing Adjustment

It is possible to adjust the blocking time between 0 (automatic lock), 3, and 6 seconds by simply moving the selection switch to the desired position.

Obs.: For doors with a closer, it is not recommended to use the timer at 0 seconds.

Frequently Asked Questions

Problem Solution
The lock does not lock Ensure the strike plate is correctly aligned and the power supply is correct (12 V - 1 A). Check the electrical diagram in section 4. Connections.
Lock with intermittent operation Check if the door is correctly aligned when closed. If the door has a hydraulic closer, check if it is correctly adjusted.
The lock does not unlock Ensure the maximum distance between the strike plate and the lock is 5 mm. Check if the door is correctly aligned when closed. If the door has a hydraulic closer, check if it is correctly adjusted.
Bolt locking unit Ensure the lock is correctly connected to the button. Ensure the lock wiring passes through the correct side, as mentioned in Safety and Security. Check that the door is not misaligned, rubbing against the lock bolt. Verify the alignment of the bolt with the stop hole, ensuring interference-free movement. Ensure the door is not misaligned, forcing the locking bolt. Open the lock and clean the bolt channel movement components (see instructions in the Safety and Security section). Obs.: Never apply oil or lubricants to the bolt or any other part of the lock.

Intelbras S/A undertakes to repair or replace defective parts and components of the product, including labor, or the entire product, for the period described in the warranty term. For the validity of this warranty, the product must be presented at the Call Center, accompanied by: this policy duly sealed by the establishment where it was purchased, or by the invoice, receipt, or proof of purchase.

The repair time will not exceed 30 calendar days from the date of product receipt at the Service Center.

THIS WARRANTY IS NOT VALID IN THE FOLLOWING CASES:

Warranty Terms

It is expressly stated that this contractual warranty is granted under the following conditions:

  1. All parts, pieces, and components of the product are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of 1 (one) year - consisting of 3 (three) months of legal warranty and 9 (nine) months of contractual warranty - starting from the date of purchase by the consumer, as stated on the product invoice, which is an integral part of this Term throughout the national territory. This contractual warranty includes the express replacement of products with manufacturing defects. If no manufacturing defect is detected, but defects arising from improper use are found, the consumer will bear the costs.
  2. Product installation must be carried out according to the Product Manual and/or Installation Guide. If your product requires installation and configuration by a qualified technician, seek a competent and specialized professional, as the costs of these services are not included in the product price.
  3. Upon detection of a defect, the Consumer must immediately contact the nearest Authorized Service Center listed by the manufacturer. Only these are authorized to examine and rectify the defect during the warranty period. Failure to comply with this will void the warranty, as it will be considered that the product has been tampered with.
  4. In case the Consumer requests home service, they must contact the nearest Authorized Service Center to inquire about the technical visit fee. If the product needs to be removed, the resulting costs, such as transportation and security for the product's round trip, will be the responsibility of the Consumer.
  5. The warranty will be completely void in the event of any of the following hypotheses: a) if the defect is not manufacturing-related, but caused by the Consumer or third parties unrelated to the manufacturer; b) if the product damage is a consequence of accidents, incidents, natural phenomena (lightning, floods, landslides, etc.), humidity, power grid voltage (overvoltage caused by accidents or excessive grid fluctuations), installation/use not in accordance with the user manual or resulting from natural wear and tear of parts, components; c) if the product has been subjected to chemical, electromagnetic, electrical or animal influences (insects, etc.); d) if the product's serial number has been altered or defaced; e) if the appliance has been tampered with.
  6. This warranty does not cover data loss. It is recommended that the Consumer regularly back up product data, if applicable.
  7. Intelbras is not responsible for the installation of this product, nor for any attempt at fraud and/or sabotage of its products. Keep software and application updates current, as well as necessary network protections against intrusions (hackers). The equipment is guaranteed against defects within its normal usage conditions. It is important to be aware that, being an electronic device, it is not immune to fraud and scams that may interfere with its proper functioning.
  8.
