Product Description
The GW16970CB is a wall-mounting thermostat designed to control heating/cooling and humidification/dehumidification systems. It manages temperature in manual mode or across three levels: comfort, pre-comfort, and economy. The thermostat supports two-way system control algorithms, including two-point (ON/OFF) and proportional-integral (PWM). It features 2 output contacts for heating, cooling, or humidity control, and 1 input for an external NTC temperature sensor for room temperature measurement compensation or underfloor heating protection.
The user interface includes capacitive touch controls on a technopolymer plate and a backlit display. Integrated sensors for proximity, temperature, and humidity are built-in, along with a Wi-Fi interface for local or remote parameter setting and temperature profile programming via smartphone and tablet apps.
Usage Options:
- Independent Intelligent Thermostat: Operates standalone without a Smart Home system. Configuration and control are managed via the "ThermoICE 2.0" APP.
- Integrated into Gewiss "Connected Smart Home" system: Interoperates with other devices in the system and is configured and controlled via the "Home Gateway" APP.
Installation: Wall-mounting using wall plugs or on 3-module rectangular boxes (83.5 mm center distance). Equipped with a front plate made of technopolymer.
