General Care and Precautions
Do not fasten the watch strap too tightly. You should be able to fit a finger between your wrist and the strap.
To clean the watch and strap, use a dry, soft cloth, or a soft cloth dampened with a water solution of mild neutral detergent. Never use volatile agents such as gasoline, thinners, spray cleaners, etc.
When not in use, store your watch in a dry location.
Avoid exposing the watch to gasoline, cleaning solvents, spray aerosols, adhesives, paint, etc. Chemical reactions caused by these materials will damage gaskets, the case, and the watch's finish.
Some watch models feature silk-screened designs on their straps. Be careful when cleaning such straps to avoid damaging these designs.
For watches with plastic straps: You may notice a white powdery substance on the strap. This substance is harmless to your skin or clothing and can be easily removed by wiping with a cloth. Sweat or moisture on a plastic strap, or storage in humid conditions, can lead to damage, breakage, or cracking of the strap. To ensure a long service life for a plastic strap, wipe it clean of dirt and moisture with a soft cloth whenever possible.
For watches with fluorescent cases and straps: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause the fluorescent coloring to gradually fade. Prolonged contact with moisture can also cause the fluorescent coloring to fade. If any moisture gets on the watch surface, wipe it off as soon as possible. Prolonged contact with any other wet surface may cause the fluorescent coloring to discolor. Check that moisture is removed from the fluorescent surface and avoid contact with other surfaces. Heavy rubbing of a fluorescent surface against another surface may cause the fluorescent paint to transfer to that surface.
Important Information Before Use
Water Resistance
For all categories of watches, it is forbidden to:
- Press buttons underwater.
- Adjust hands underwater.
- Unscrew the crown underwater.
If the watch is exposed to saltwater, rinse it thoroughly and dry it.
Do not wear a leather-strapped watch while swimming. Avoid prolonged contact of leather straps with water.
Watches are classified by water resistance ratings (from I to V) according to their degree of protection against water. Check your watch's rating using the table below to determine correct usage.

Notes:
- I: Watch is not water-resistant. Avoid any contact with water.
- II WR (Water Resistant) means the model is waterproof according to ISO 2281. Brief contact with water will not cause problems.
- III With 5 Bar (50 meters) water resistance, the watch can withstand water pressure indicated by the value and can be used during showers and brief swimming.
- IV Water resistance of 10 Bar (100 meters) means the watch can be used during normal swimming and snorkeling.
- V Water resistance of 20 Bar (200 meters) means the watch can be used for scuba diving (except for depths requiring a helium-oxygen mixture).
Watch Care
Never attempt to open the case or remove the back cover.
The rubber gasket that protects the watch from water and dust should be replaced every 2-3 years.
If moisture gets inside the watch, have it checked immediately by your nearest dealer or CASIO distributor.
Do not expose the watch to extreme temperatures.
Although the watch is designed for normal use, avoid rough handling and do not drop it.

General Operation
Press button B to switch between modes.
Press button L to turn on the backlight in any mode.

Timekeeping Mode
The Timekeeping Mode is used to set and view the current time and date.

Setting the Current Time and Date
1. In the Timekeeping Mode, press and hold button A until the seconds digits start flashing. This indicates you have entered the setting mode.
2. Press button B to cycle through the settings in the following order:
Seconds → Hours → Minutes → Day of Week → Month → Year
3. When the parameter you want to adjust is flashing, use button C to make the necessary adjustments as shown in the table:

If the current seconds value is between 30 and 59 when resetting to 00, the minutes value will be incremented by 1. If the current seconds value is between 00 and 29 when resetting to 00, the minutes value will not change.
The year can be set from 2000 to 2099. The watch has a built-in auto-calendar that accounts for leap years. Once the date is set, there should be no need to adjust it unless the battery is replaced.
4. Press button A to exit the setting mode.
Switching Between 12-Hour and 24-Hour Formats
In the Timekeeping Mode, press button C to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats.
With the 12-hour format, the PM indicator is displayed to the left of the hour value for times from noon to 11:59 PM. The PM indicator is not displayed for times from midnight to 11:59 AM.
With the 24-hour format, time is displayed from 0:00 to 23:59.
The PM and 24-hour format indicators are not displayed in the Alarm or Dual Time modes. The time format set in the Timekeeping Mode applies to all other modes.
Alarm Mode
When the alarm signal is turned on, it will sound whenever the set time is reached. You can also set an hourly chime, which sounds twice at the top of each hour.
All operations in this section are performed in the Alarm Mode, which you enter by pressing button B.
Alarm Operation
The alarm signal sounds for 10 seconds in any mode whenever the set time is reached.
Setting the Alarm:
1. In the Alarm Mode, press and hold button A until the hour digits of the alarm time start flashing. This indicates you have entered the alarm setting mode.
2. Press button B to switch between adjusting the hour and minute values.
3. When the hour or minute value is flashing, press button C to increase the value. Hold button C to scroll through values quickly.
When setting the alarm time in 12-hour format, the PM indicator is not displayed for AM times, and is displayed for PM times.
4. Press button A to exit the setting mode.
This operation automatically turns on the alarm signal.
Stopping the Alarm Signal
Press any button to stop the alarm sound.
Turning the Alarm and Hourly Chime On and Off
In the Alarm Mode, press button C to cycle through the settings for the alarm and hourly chime:
- ALM SIG: Both alarm and hourly chime ON
- ALM: Alarm ON only
- SIG: Hourly chime ON only
- (No indicator): Both alarm and hourly chime OFF
When the alarm is sounding, the ALM indicator flashes. The ALM and SIG indicators are displayed in all modes when the alarm or hourly chime is turned on, respectively.
Checking the Alarm
In the Alarm Mode, press and hold button C until the alarm sounds. This is a test of the alarm.

Stopwatch Mode
In Stopwatch Mode, you can measure elapsed time, split times, and record two different finish times.
The measurement capacity of the stopwatch is 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59.99 seconds.
When this limit is reached, the stopwatch will restart from zero until you stop it.
Measurements will continue even if the watch exits Stopwatch Mode.
All operations in this section are performed in the Stopwatch Mode, which you enter by pressing button B.

Measuring Split Times and Two Finish Times
[Start] (Press C)
[Split] (Press C) - Records first split time (SPL indicator appears)
[Split Release] (Press C) - Displays total elapsed time, then second split time (SPL indicator disappears)
[Stop] (Press C) - Stops measurement
[Reset] (Press A) - Resets all values to zero

If the watch exits Stopwatch Mode while a split time is being displayed, that split time will be replaced by the total elapsed time.
Dual Time Mode
In Dual Time Mode, you can view the current time of your home region and the time of another time zone simultaneously.
The seconds in Dual Time Mode are synchronized with the seconds in Timekeeping Mode.
Setting Dual Time
1. Use button B to enter Dual Time Mode.
2. In Dual Time Mode, press and hold button A until the hour digits of the dual time start flashing. This indicates you have entered the setting mode.
3. Use button B to switch between adjusting the hour and minute values.
4. When the hour or minute value is flashing, press button C to increase the value. Hold button C to scroll through values quickly.
5. Press button A to exit the setting mode.

Backlight
Your watch uses an LED backlight panel for easy reading in the dark.
You can set the backlight duration to 1.5 or 3 seconds.
For more details, see the "Backlight Precautions" section.
Forcing the Backlight On
Press button L in any mode to illuminate the display.

Setting Backlight Duration
In the Timekeeping Mode, press button A to switch the backlight duration between 3 seconds (the "3"" indicator is displayed) and 1.5 seconds (the "3"" indicator is not displayed).
For battery power saving, the 3-second backlight duration will automatically switch to 1.5 seconds after approximately 7 hours. To set the backlight duration to 3 seconds again, perform the above procedure.

Auto-Return Function
If you do not perform any operations for two or three minutes while in a setting mode, the settings you have made are saved, and the watch automatically exits the setting mode.
Backlight Precautions
The backlight is difficult to see under direct sunlight.
The backlight automatically turns off whenever any alarm sounds.
Frequent use of the backlight will shorten battery life.
