For all watch categories, the following are prohibited:

- Unscrewing the crown underwater
IMPORTANT!!!

Battery
• If you notice signs of low battery power (faint display or no backlight), replace the battery at an authorized CASIO dealer or distributor. The battery included with your watch may be a test battery, potentially having a shorter service life than a standard battery.
Water Resistance
Watches are classified by water resistance rating (from I to V) according to their protection level. Refer to the table below to determine the rules for using your watch.
Marking on Case | Splash, Rain, Washing Hands | Swimming, Washing Machines | Skin Diving, Snorkeling | Scuba Diving | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
I | No | No | No | No | |
II | WATER RESISTANT | Yes | No | No | No |

IV | 100M WATER RESISTANT | Yes | Yes | Yes | No |
V | 200M WATER RESISTANT 300M WATER RESISTANT | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Notes for respective sections:
- I. The watch is not water-resistant. Avoid any contact with moisture.
- III. If the watch is exposed to saltwater, rinse it thoroughly and dry it.
- IV. If the watch is exposed to saltwater, rinse it thoroughly and dry it.
- V. The watch can be used for scuba diving (except for depths requiring helium-oxygen mixtures).
Care of Your Watch
- The gasket that protects the watch from water and dust should be replaced every 2-3 years.
- If moisture gets inside the watch, have it checked immediately by an authorized CASIO dealer or distributor.
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme high or low temperatures.
- While the watch is designed for normal use, avoid rough handling and do not drop it.
- Do not fasten the strap too tightly. There should be space for a finger between your wrist and the strap.
- To clean the watch and strap, use a dry, soft cloth, or a soft cloth dampened with a mild neutral detergent solution. Never use volatile substances such as gasoline, solvents, or aerosol cleaners.
- When not in use, store the watch in a dry place.
- Avoid contact with gasoline, cleaning solvents, aerosol sprays, adhesives, paints, etc. Chemical reactions with these materials can damage gaskets, the case, and the watch's finish.
- Some watch models feature silk-screened designs on their straps. Be careful when cleaning these straps to avoid damaging the designs.
For Watches with Polymer Straps...
- You may notice a white powdery substance on the strap. This substance is harmless to your skin or clothing and can be easily removed by wiping with a soft cloth.
- Exposure of a polymer strap to sweat or moisture, or storing it in high humidity conditions, can lead to damage, cracking, or peeling of the strap. To ensure a long service life for the polymer strap, wipe it clean of dirt and water with a soft cloth as often as possible.
For Watches with Fluorescent Cases and Straps...
- Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause the fluorescent color to gradually fade.
- Prolonged contact with moisture may cause the fluorescent color to gradually fade. If any moisture gets on the watch surface, remove it as soon as possible.
- Prolonged contact with a wet surface may lead to discoloration of the fluorescent color. Ensure the fluorescent surface is kept dry and avoid contact with other surfaces.
- Friction of a surface with fluorescent paint against another surface may transfer the fluorescent paint to that surface.
CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. is not responsible for any damage that may occur from the use of this watch and accepts no claims from third parties.
