Assembly Steps

1. Step 1: Attach Brackets

   Place the chair assembly on a protected surface (e.g., a rug or blanket) to prevent scratches. Take the two main base frame pieces. Attach four brackets (Part No. 122620) to the designated positions on these base pieces. The diagram shows the brackets fitting into pre-drilled holes.

2. Step 2: Connect Side Supports

   Insert sixteen wooden dowels (Part No. 101350) into the corresponding holes on the side support pieces and the front/back crossbars of the base frame. Connect the side support pieces to the base frame by aligning the dowels with the holes in the base. The diagram shows the dowels being inserted and then the side pieces being attached.

3. Step 3: Secure Base to Side Supports

   Using the provided Allen key (Part No. 10083377) ?, insert and tighten three screws (Part No. 104322) through the base frame into the side support pieces. The diagram shows a close-up of the Allen key turning a screw.

4. Step 4: Secure Other Side Supports

   Carefully turn the partially assembled chair frame upside down. Using the Allen key (Part No. 10083377) ?, insert and tighten three screws (Part No. 104322) through the base frame into the remaining side support pieces. The diagram shows the frame being flipped and screws being inserted.

5. Step 5: Attach Rear Supports

   With the chair frame still upside down, use the Allen key (Part No. 10083377) ?, insert and tighten two screws (Part No. 104322) into the rear support structure of the chair. The diagram shows the screws being driven into the back of the frame.

6. Step 6: Attach Seat and Backrest

   Attach the seat and backrest components to the main chair frame. The diagram shows these parts being placed into position. A close-up illustration shows attaching protective feet or glides to the bottom of each chair leg to protect floors.

7. Step 7: Final Bracket Attachment

   Secure the previously attached brackets (Part No. 122620) to the chair frame. Use a screwdriver ? to insert and tighten four screws (Part No. 122925) into the brackets. The diagram shows the final screws being driven into the brackets.
