Cleaning Recommendations
- Use non-abrasive or diluted products (e.g., soapy water, diluted alcohol) for plastic components.
- Use a soft cloth with 91% isopropyl alcohol for surface marks.
- Avoid abrasive cleansers, acetone, mineral spirits, paint thinner, or other harsh chemicals.
Important: Installation should be performed by a qualified technician and meet local regulations.
Ceiling Assembly
Step 1: Install the ceiling mount firmly to a solid ceiling.
- Disassemble the ceiling mount and adjustable pole.
- Mark drill holes on the ceiling.
- Drill 4 holes and insert expansion bolts (recommended drill bit: diameter Ø2.7 mm / depth 60 mm).
- Secure the ceiling mount with 4 washers and 4 nylon nuts.
Step A & B: Install the ceiling cover.
Adjust the ceiling cover placement based on whether the upper or lower pole is below a suspended ceiling. Secure with screws using the Allen key.
Step 2: Assemble the arm to the pole.
- Place bearings onto the spindle.
- Place the arm onto the spindle.
- Manage cables and ensure the C-clip is securely fitted into the spindle groove.
- Attach the rotating cover-L.
Step 3: Adjust the height.
- Insert the adjustable pole into the ceiling mount.
- Fix the pole at the desired height using screws, screw bushings, washers, and nylon nuts with a wrench.
Note: Ensure the joint is at a vertical 90° ± 1° angle.
Cable Assembly
Step 1.1: Remove the cable covers.
Carefully slide out the cable covers as shown.
Step 1.2: Run cables through the arm.
- Use the cable wrapper (12) and cable ties (13) to manage cables.
- Ensure the VESA adapter is moved down to allow cables to pass through.
- Leave at least 15 cm of cable slack at the VESA adapter for arm movement.
The diagram shows cable lengths for management: 40 cm, 30 cm, 58 cm, with 15 cm remaining slack.
Monitor Assembly
Step 1.1: Prepare the monitor mount.
Remove the back cover using a screwdriver (not provided) and pull out the cable. Save screws for reattachment.
Step 1.2: Mount the monitor to the VESA interface.
Use the provided Allen key and screws (4, 5, 6, 7) to attach the monitor to the VESA mount. Ensure correct VESA pattern (75x75 mm or 100x100 mm).
Step 1.3: Connect cables and replace cover.
Connect cables to the monitor, complete the circuit, and replace the VESA cable cover (B or S).
Step 1.4: Attach the handle bar.
Insert the handle bar into the two holes at the bottom of the VESA interface and secure with four screws using the 2.5 mm Allen key.
Replacement of the Arm Covers
Follow the indicated order to assemble the covers and replace adjuster covers.
Adjustment for Loading
Caution for weight capacity adjustment:
- Verify the monitor's weight.
- Support the arm during adjustment.
- Pull down the arm and remove the upper cap to access adjustment points.
Adjustment: Use the provided Allen key. Turn clockwise for more weight capacity, counterclockwise for less.
Loading Capacity:
- FPMA-HAC100: 1-6 kg
- FPMA-HAC100HC: 6-12 kg
Note: Loading capacity is based on the monitor's center of gravity being less than 3 cm from the VESA interface. Capacity may be reduced for monitors larger than 26 inches or deeper than 5.5 cm.
Adjusting Universal Joint Tension
To adjust tension for different monitor weights:
- Remove the plastic universal joint cover.
- Locate the nylon nut (not the screw head) and use the provided wrench to adjust tension. Hold the screw head with a wrench while adjusting the nut.
- Support the monitor while adjusting. Turn clockwise for more tension, counterclockwise for less.
- Replace the plastic covers once the desired tension is achieved.
Caution: Support the monitor during adjustment. Only adjust the nylon nut. Do not disassemble the universal joint.
Safety Notes
