- Never clean appliance parts with flammable fluids.
- Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids nearby.
Flammable Refrigerant Gas
This appliance contains a small quantity of R600a refrigerant, which is environmentally friendly but flammable. It does not damage the ozone layer or increase the greenhouse effect.

Installation Instructions
Before Using the Beverage Refrigerator
- Remove exterior and interior packing.
- Check that all parts are present: 3 Wire Shelves, 1 Stainless Steel Handle, 4 Adjustable Leveling Feet, 1 L-Shaped Screwdriver, 1 Instruction Manual.
- Before connecting to power, let the refrigerator stand upright for 24-36 hours to reduce potential malfunctions from handling during transportation.
- Clean the interior with a soft cloth and lukewarm water.
- Install the handle on the left side of the door.
Installation of the Beverage Refrigerator
This appliance is designed for freestanding or built-in (fully recessed) installation. Place the product on a floor strong enough to support its fully loaded weight. Adjust the front leveling legs to level the unit.
Place the product away from direct sunlight and heat sources (stoves, heaters, radiators). Sunlight can damage the acrylic coating, while heat sources increase energy consumption. Avoid extremely cold temperatures (below 60°F/16°C) and moist or damp locations.
For optimal performance, install in an environment with an ambient temperature between 72°F and 78°F.
Cabinet Opening Dimensions:
- Minimum Width: 15.05" (38.3 cm)
- Minimum Depth: 22.65" (57.6 cm)
- Minimum Height: 34.25" (87 cm)
Built-in Cabinet Instructions:
For built-in installation, allow 6 mm space on each side and at the top for proper air circulation to cool the compressor and condenser. Ensure no objects block the front exhaust vent. If the refrigerator is too short, adjust its height using the leveling feet.
Electrical Connection
Note: Improper use of the grounded plug can result in electrical shock. If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by an authorized service center. Proper grounding is essential for safety.
- Plug the unit into an exclusive, properly grounded wall outlet. Do not cut or remove the third (ground) prong. Grounding is essential for personal safety. Consult a certified electrician or authorized service center for questions regarding power and grounding.
- The appliance should be plugged into its own individual electrical outlet matching the rating label. This ensures best performance and prevents overloading house wiring. Never unplug by pulling the power cord; grip the plug firmly and pull straight out. Repair or replace damaged power cords immediately. Do not use cords with cracks or abrasion damage. Be careful not to damage the power cord when moving the appliance.
- This appliance requires a standard AC115V/60Hz grounded outlet with three prongs. Have the wall outlet and circuit checked by a qualified electrician. Replace 2-prong outlets with properly grounded 3-prong outlets. Secure the cord behind the appliance, not exposed or dangling.
Power Bar with Surge Protection (Recommended)
Electrical control boards are susceptible to power surges. If your location is prone to surges/outages, connect devices to a surge protector with an adequate joule rating. Consult a licensed electrician for surge protector specifications.
Extension Cord
To avoid safety hazards, do not use an extension cord. If one is required, use a UL/CUL-listed, 3-wire grounding cord rated for 115 volts and at least 10 amperes.
Installing the Handle
Follow these instructions to install the stainless steel handle:
- Remove the door gasket from the left side of the door. The gasket can be detached by hand.
- Insert the two handle screws, lock washer, and flat washer (from the manual bag) from the inside to the outside of the door.
- Align the handle holes with the screws. Tighten screws with a screwdriver until the handle base is flush with the door surface. Ensure the handle is secure but not overtightened.
- Reinstall the door gasket.
Note: Handle screws are packed with other accessories in the manual bag.
Operating Your Beverage Refrigerator
It is recommended to install the beverage refrigerator in an area where the ambient temperature is maintained between 66°F and 75°F (19°C to 24°C). Ambient temperatures outside this range may compromise performance and affect the target temperature range of 34°F to 54°F (1°C to 12°C).
Control Panel
- ON/OFF: Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds to turn the unit on or off.
- INSIDE LIGHTING: Press the light button to turn the interior lighting on or off.
- TEMPERATURE DISPLAY: Press and hold the light button for 5 seconds to switch between °C and °F.
- [+] BUTTON: Increases the temperature by 1°C or 1°F.
- [-] BUTTON: Decreases the temperature by 1°C or 1°F.
Note: If the unit is unplugged, experiences a power loss, or is powered off, allow 3 to 5 minutes before restarting. Premature restarting may cause the unit to fail to start. Initial stabilization may cause slight variance between set and displayed temperatures; this is normal and will stabilize after a few hours.
Setting the Temperature
The temperature range for the YG-BS15-23 is 34°F-54°F (1°C-12°C). Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the temperature by 1°C or 1°F per press.
Note: This product is designed for storing and cooling beverages only. It is not intended for perishable foods.
Large Storage Capacity
Approximately 80 standard 12 oz. drink cans can be stored in the beverage refrigerator, varying by can size and dimension.
Shelves
The appliance is equipped with 3 wire shelves that move smoothly. To prevent damaging the door gasket, open the door fully when pulling shelves out. Pull shelves out about 1/3 of the way for easy access to drinks.
Moving the Beverage Refrigerator
- Remove all items (drinks).
- Securely tape down loose items (shelves) inside the appliance.
- Turn the adjustable legs up towards the base to avoid damage.
- Tape the door shut.
- Ensure the appliance remains upright during transportation. If horizontal transport is necessary, place it on its back with the door on top.
- Protect the exterior with a blanket or similar item.
Cleaning the Beverage Refrigerator
- Before cleaning, power off and unplug the appliance. Remove all contents, including shelves.
- Clean interior surfaces with a warm water-based baking soda solution (2 tablespoons baking soda to 1 cup water).
- Wash shelves with a mild detergent solution, rinse thoroughly, and allow to dry.
- When cleaning the control panel or electrical components, use a well-wrung-out sponge or cloth to prevent excess moisture.
- Wipe the exterior cabinet with warm water and mild liquid detergent, then rinse and dry with a clean, soft cloth.
Note: Disconnect the unit from its power source during operation to avoid electric shock or personal injury.
Charcoal Filtration System
The beverage refrigerator has an active charcoal filtration system to ensure air purity and maintain an odor-free cabinet. The filter is located at the bottom of the rear panel inside the refrigerator and should be changed every 12 months.
To replace the filter: Remove bottles and shelves. Grip the old filter, rotate 45 degrees counterclockwise, and pull it out. Discard the used filter and insert the new one, securing it by rotating 45 degrees clockwise.
Automatic Defrosting
The unit defrosts automatically. Evaporated condensate collects in the drainage channel behind the rear wall and flows through a drainage hole into the drip tray by the compressor, where it evaporates.
Power Failure
Most power failures are short-term. Minimize door openings to maintain temperature. If a prolonged power outage is expected, take steps to protect contents.
Energy Saving Tips
- Place the refrigerator in the coolest area, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
- Ensure adequate space on all sides for proper ventilation. Do not cover air vents.
- Minimize door opening time, as frequent opening affects internal temperature.
Troubleshooting Guide
Many common issues can be resolved by following these troubleshooting tips:
Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
---|---|---|
Product does not operate. | Power cord not plugged in. Unit is turned off. Circuit breaker tripped or fuse blown. | Plug in the unit. Power on the unit. Check circuit breaker and replace blown fuses. |
Product is not cold enough. | External environment may require a higher setting. Door opened too often. Door not closed completely. Door gasket does not seal properly. | Check temperature control setting. Close door properly. Check door gasket. Avoid frequent door openings. |
