Step 3: Assemble Poles
Assemble the four leg poles and the ridge pole. These poles typically connect using internal shockcords and/or hub systems.
[Diagram: Shows the individual pole sections being connected to form the complete leg poles and the ridge pole assembly.]
-
Step 4: Insert Poles into Hubs
Verify the correct orientation of the pole hubs. Insert the leg poles into the corresponding sockets or hubs located at the peak of the tent body.

Step 5: Secure Peak Shockcord
Hook the peak shockcord around the assembled peak hubs to secure them in place, as illustrated.
[Diagram: Shows the shockcord loop being attached and tensioned around the pole hub at the tent's apex.]

Step 8: Attach Clips and Stake Down
Attach all the tent clips (usually found on the tent body fabric) to the corresponding poles. Stake down the four corners of the tent body using the provided plastic stakes.
[Diagram: Shows tent clips being fastened onto poles and stakes being driven into the ground at the tent's corners.]
-
Step 9: Drape and Secure Fly
Place the rainfly over the tent body. Insert the spreader pole (from Step 6) into the webbing pockets located on the underside of the fly.
[Diagram: The rainfly is shown being draped over the erected tent structure, with the spreader pole being fitted into its pocket on the fly.]
-
Step 10: Insert Eave Poles
Insert the eave pole extensions into the webbing pockets located on the underside of the fly, typically along the edges.
[Diagram: Shows smaller, flexible poles being inserted into pockets along the edges of the rainfly.]
-
Step 11: Secure Fly Fasteners
Connect the hook-and-loop fasteners found on the underside of the fly around the leg poles. Additionally, attach the four toggles on the underside of the fly to the corresponding tent body rings.
[Diagram: Illustrates Velcro straps on the fly wrapping around poles and toggles being secured to loops on the tent body.]
-
Step 12: Final Stake Down
Secure the fly to the tent by attaching the corresponding buckles found on both the fly and the tent body. Stake down the side pullouts and vestibule areas using the eight steel stakes.
