- CAUTION: Hot surfaces! The device gets very hot during use. Avoid contact with heated parts during or after use. Only touch the handle or the On/Off switch when the device is in operation or contains hot water.
- Never exceed the maximum fill level (MAX mark). Overfilling may cause boiling water to escape from the pouring spout.
- Never immerse the kettle, base station, or connecting cable in water or other liquids. Ensure they do not fall into water or get wet.
- Always disconnect the base station from the mains power when unattended and before cleaning.
- Use the kettle only with the provided base station. Do not use the base station with other devices.

Set-Up and Connection
Please Note!
- Connect the base station only to a properly installed socket. Mains voltage must match the device's technical data.
- Do not place the device under kitchen wall units or similar cupboards, as rising steam can cause damage.
- Ensure the connecting cable does not present a trip hazard and does not hang down from the surface.
- Lay the connecting cable so it is not squashed, bent, or in contact with hot surfaces.
- Unwind the connecting cable on the base station to the required length and place it in the cable winder.
- Set up the device with at least 20 cm clearance on the sides and 30 cm clearance above on a flat, heat-resistant, splash-resistant surface.
- Plug the mains plug into an easily accessible socket for quick disconnection.
Before Initial Use
- To remove production residues, fill the kettle to the MAX mark with water and switch it on. Follow instructions in “Set-Up and Connection” and “Use” chapters.
- Pour away the boiled water. Do not drink it!
- Repeat this process twice.
Use
Please Note!
- Before boiling, ensure the On/Off switch is not blocked. The kettle only switches off automatically if the switch is not blocked.
- The lid must always be closed during operation.
- Never operate the device without water or with water below the MIN mark, as it could overheat and switch off. Allow it to cool before refilling.
- Pull the lid release button towards the handle and open the lid.
- Fill the kettle with at least 0.5 litres (MIN mark) and no more than 1.8 litres (MAX mark) of water. Insufficient water causes premature switch-off. Exceeding the MAX mark may cause splashing.
- Flip the lid shut until it engages.
- Place the kettle on the base station.
- Move the On/Off switch to position I. The device and operating lamp turn on.
- The boiling process can be stopped by moving the On/Off switch to position 0.

- After boiling, empty the kettle. Do not drink this water!
- Refill the kettle with water and boil again to remove any descaling agent residues. Pour away this water. Do not drink it!

Disposal
- Dispose of packaging material environmentally responsibly and return it to the recycling collection.
- The symbol of a crossed-out trash can with an underline indicates that old appliances must not be disposed of in household waste but through special collection and return systems.
- Owners of old appliances from private households can return them free of charge to collection points of public waste disposal authorities or to the return systems set up by manufacturers and distributors according to the ElektroG. This ensures environmentally friendly disposal and recovery of valuable raw materials. Improper disposal can release toxic substances into the environment, harming humans, animals, and plants.
- Shops that make electrical and electronic equipment available on the market are also subject to return obligations.
- Waste prevention is even more valuable for environmental protection. Therefore, in addition to reuse or repair, giving the appliance to a second user is an ecologically valuable alternative to disposal.
