Intended Use

⚠️WARNING: Note all safety notices, instructions, illustrations and technical data provided with this device. Failure to follow the safety notices and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and / or injuries.

?CAUTION: hot surfaces!

The device and accessories will become very hot during use. Do not come into contact with heated parts while or after using the device! Only ever touch the handle and control panel while the device is in operation or immediately after it has been switched off. Wait until the device has cooled down fully before it is transported, cleaned or stored away. Use oven gloves when handling the hot accessories.

⚠️WARNING – Danger of Electric Shock

Never immerse the device and the connecting cable in water or other liquids and ensure that these components cannot fall into water or become wet. If the device falls into water while it is connected to the mains power, pull the mains plug out of the plug socket immediately. Only after this should you pull the device out of the water. Never attempt to pull it out of the water while it is connected to the mains power! Before using it again, have it checked by the manufacturer, customer service department or an authorised distributor in order to avoid possible hazards.

Programmes and Functions

The drawer must be inserted all the way into the cooking chamber for the control panel to be used.

Switch on/off: Touch (16).

Programmes

The device features manual setting of the temperature and cooking time as well as 7 preset programmes. To select a programme, touch (M) (19) on the control panel (2). When the symbol flashes, the programme is selected.

ℹ️ The times and temperatures which are set for the programmes should be adjusted if necessary to ensure that the food (in particular poultry) is fully cooked. Adjustments can also be made during the cooking process.

Use

Please Note!

The device should be used for the first time without any food in it as it may produce some smoke or odours due to coating residues.

  1. Make sure that the insert rack (7) is inserted in the drawer (5).
  2. Slide the drawer into the cooking chamber (4).

Basic Use

  1. Touch (16). ►II (18) flashes. 180°C and 15 minutes are preset.
  2. Adjust the cooking time and temperature or select a programme (8) (see the “Programmes and Functions” chapter).
  3. Touch || to start the cooking process. ►II is lit constantly. The remaining time is shown on the display (17).
  4. Once the cooking time elapses, OFF is shown. A beep is then heard and the device switches to standby mode.

Adjusting the Temperature and Cooking Time

The set temperature and time are shown alternately on the display (17).

To adjust, do the following:

To scroll through the values quickly, press and hold down the respective field.

Preheating

If the device needs to be preheated:

  1. Touch (16).
  2. Touch (15) to activate the function. flashes. 115°C and 12 minutes are preset.
  3. If necessary, adjust preheating temperature and time by touching ∧/∨ (22/21 or 10/11).
  4. Touch II (18) to preheat the device. is lit constantly. The remaining preheating time is shown on the display (17).
  5. Once the preheating time elapses, OFF is shown. A beep is then heard and the device switches to standby mode.

Mix Around (SHAKE)

If you want to be reminded to mix around the food:

  1. Before you start the cooking process, also touch SHAKE (SHAKE) (20). SHAKE flashes.
  2. Touch Il to start the cooking process. Once half the cooking time has elapsed, a beep is heard and SHAKE flashes faster. The cooking process is not paused automatically.
  3. Mix around the food and reinsert the drawer. SHAKE goes out.

Keeping Warm

If the food needs to be kept warm after the cooking process:

  1. Touch(12). flashes. 90°C and 15 minutes are preset.
  2. Adjust the keep-warm temperature and time: and the display (17) must flash. To do this, touch (12) if necessary. Then touch ∧/∨ (22/21 or 10/11) to adjust the values.
  3. Once the cooking time has elapsed, a beep sounds and the device automatically switches to the keep-warm function. The programme symbol (8) goes out. is lit constantly.

Ending the Cooking Process Prematurely

To switch off the device before the time has elapsed, touch (16). The device switches to standby mode. The fan continues to run for a few more seconds.

♻️ The adjacent symbol (crossed-out bin underlined) means that used devices should not be disposed of in the domestic waste, but should instead be taken to special collection and return systems.
