Product Overview

This manual provides instructions for the Xiaomi Watch S4. Please read it carefully before use and keep it for future reference.

The Xiaomi Watch S4 features a central Displej (Display). On the watch body, you will find Kontaktné body (Contact points) for charging. The watch is equipped with a Mikrofón (Microphone), a Barometer, a Vyvažovací otvor (Ventilation hole), and a Snímač srdcového tepu (Heart rate sensor). On the side, there is a Otočná korunka (Rotating crown) for navigation and a Tlačidlo napájania (Power button). The watch comes with a Nabíjacia stanica (Charging station) with charging contacts.

To get started, download and install the Xiaomi Wear app to manage your watch and access other services by logging into your Xiaomi account. Scan the QR code provided to download the application. For more information, scan the QR code or connect the watch to the app to view the user manual.

Installation and Frame Removal Guide

Follow these steps to install or remove the watch frame:

1. Place your index finger and thumb on the sides of the frame at the 6 and 12 o'clock positions, or place your palm flat on the frame. Rotate counter-clockwise at an angle (approximately 20 degrees) with force until the frame can no longer be rotated.
2. Grasp the frame vertically with both fingers to remove it.
3. Take the replacement frame component and align the fixed alignment point inside the frame with the hollow alignment point at the 12 o'clock position on the watch body. Place it horizontally onto the watch body until it clicks into place.
4. Place your index finger and thumb on the sides of the frame at the 6 and 12 o'clock positions, or place your palm flat on the frame. Rotate clockwise with force until you hear a "click," indicating the frame is securely installed.

Diagrams illustrate two options for holding the watch and show the fixed alignment points for attaching the frame.

This device has been tested and complies with applicable limits for radio frequency (RF) exposure. Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) indicates the rate at which the body absorbs RF energy. SAR limits depend on whether the device is used near the head or at the wrist. The SAR limit is 2.0 watts per kilogram averaged over 10 grams of tissue for head use and 4.0 watts per kilogram averaged over 10 grams of tissue for wrist use. During testing, the radio transmissions of this device were set to the highest transmission levels and placed in positions that simulate use near the mouth with a 5 mm gap and at the wrist without a gap. When positioning the device near the mouth, maintain at least a 5 mm distance to ensure exposure levels remain at or below the levels measured during testing.

After testing, the highest SAR values were as follows:

• Near mouth: 0.132 W/kg
• Extremities: 0.232 W/kg

Safety Precautions

• For daily use, tighten the watch comfortably around your wrist so it is approximately one finger's width from your wrist bone. Adjust the strap so the heart rate sensor can accurately collect data.
• Keep your wrist still when using the watch to measure heart rate.
• The smartwatch has a water resistance rating of 5 ATM (equivalent to a depth of 50 meters). It can be worn for swimming in pools, near the shore, or during other shallow-water activities. However, it should not be used in hot showers, saunas, or for diving. Avoid exposing the watch to direct impact from strong currents during water sports. After use in salt water, gently rinse the watch with fresh water. Leather, metal, or fabric straps should be dried immediately after contact with water (avoid direct sunlight and high temperatures). Note that water resistance is not permanent and may decrease over time. For detailed information on product water resistance, refer to the official instructions on the Xiaomi website regarding the water resistance of smartwatches and bands.
• The watch's touchscreen does not support underwater operations. If the watch comes into contact with water, use a soft cloth to gently remove excess water from its surface before further use.
• During daily use, avoid wearing the watch too tightly. Keep the contact area dry and regularly clean the strap with water. If you notice redness, swelling, or irritation of the skin, discontinue use of the watch immediately and seek medical attention.
• During charging, ensure the power adapter, charging cable, and watch remain dry. Do not touch them with wet hands or expose them to rain or other liquids.
• If you will not be using the watch for an extended period, turn it off after a full charge and store it in a cool, dry place. Charge the watch at least once every 3 months.
• The watch's operating temperature is from -10 °C to 45 °C. If the ambient environment is too hot or too cold, the watch may not function properly.
• If the screen is broken, do not touch it or attempt to remove it. Discontinue use of the watch immediately and contact an authorized service provider.
• Use only the provided charging cable to charge the watch. Use only power adapters that comply with local safety standards or are certified and supplied by qualified manufacturers.
• Do not open, crush, damage, or incinerate the watch. If the battery swells or leaks liquid, stop using the battery immediately.
• The watch contains a built-in battery. To prevent damage, do not disassemble or replace the battery yourself. Only authorized service providers can replace the battery. Using an incorrect battery may lead to serious safety risks, including personal injury.
• Do not dispose of the battery in household waste or landfills. Follow local laws and regulations for the disposal of this product and used batteries.
• Disposing of the battery in fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting the battery, may cause an explosion.
• Leaving the battery in an environment with extremely high temperatures may cause an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
• Exposure of the battery to extremely low air pressure may cause an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
• This product is not a toy and contains small parts. Keep it out of reach of children to prevent suffocation or other injuries caused by accidental ingestion of small parts.
• Keep the product indicator away from the eyes of children and animals during product use.
• This watch is not a medical device. Any data or information provided by the watch should not be used as a basis for diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of diseases.
• To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volumes for extended periods.
• Product information is provided on the back cover of the watch for your reference.

Warranty Notice

As a Xiaomi consumer, you may be entitled to additional warranties under certain conditions. Xiaomi offers specific consumer warranty benefits that supplement and do not replace any statutory warranties provided under your national consumer protection laws. Except where prohibited by law or otherwise promised by Xiaomi, after-sales services are limited to the country or region of original purchase. Normal wear and tear, force majeure, misuse, or damage caused by user negligence or fault are not covered by the warranty. Current warranties do not apply to Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Products that have not been properly imported and/or manufactured by Xiaomi and/or not properly purchased from Xiaomi or an official Xiaomi retailer are not covered by these warranties. Under applicable laws, you may be entitled to warranties from the unofficial retailer who sold the product. Therefore, Xiaomi urges you to contact the retailer from whom you purchased the product.
