Product Overview

This manual provides information for the Xiaomi Watch S4. Please read it carefully before use and keep it for future reference.

The watch features a display screen, microphone, barometer, contact points, a rotating crown, a speaker, and a power/reset button. It also includes a charging dock.

Bezel Installation and Removal Guide

Follow these steps to install or remove the watch bezel:

1. Place your index finger and thumb on the sides of the bezel at the 6 and 12 o'clock positions, or press your palm against the bezel. Rotate counter-clockwise at an angle (approximately 20 degrees) until it stops.
2. Lift the bezel upwards with both fingers to remove the bezel component.
3. Take the replacement bezel component and align the solid alignment point inside the bezel with the hollow alignment point at the 12 o'clock position on the watch body. Place it horizontally onto the watch body until it clicks into place.
4. Place your index finger and thumb on the sides of the bezel at the 6 and 12 o'clock positions, or press your palm against the bezel. Rotate clockwise with sufficient force until you hear a "click," indicating the bezel is securely attached.

This device meets limits for radio frequency (RF) energy exposure. Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) measures how the body absorbs RF energy. Limits are 2.0 W/kg averaged over 10g of tissue for head use and 4.0 W/kg for wrist use. During testing, the transmitter was set to its highest power level and placed in positions simulating use near the mouth (5mm distance) and at the wrist (no distance). Maintain at least a 5mm distance from the mouth to ensure exposure levels remain within limits.

Maximum SAR values found during testing: Near Mouth: 0.132 W/kg, Limbs: 0.232 W/kg.

Safety Precautions

• Wearing: For daily wear, tighten the strap so the watch is about one finger's width from your wrist bone. Ensure the heart rate sensor maintains good contact. Keep the contact area dry and clean the strap regularly. If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
• Heart Rate Measurement: Keep your wrist still while measuring your heart rate.
• Water Resistance (5ATM): Suitable for swimming in pools, shallow water, and other water activities. Do not use in hot showers, saunas, or for diving. Avoid direct exposure to strong water currents during water sports. Rinse with fresh water after use in saltwater. Dry leather, metal, or fabric straps immediately after contact with water, avoiding direct sunlight or high temperatures. Water resistance may decrease over time. Refer to Xiaomi's official website for detailed water resistance instructions.
• Touchscreen: The touchscreen is not designed for underwater use. If the watch contacts water, wipe it dry with a soft cloth before further use.
• Charging: Ensure the charging adapter, charger, and watch are in a dry environment during charging. Do not touch with wet hands or expose to rain or liquids. Use only the provided charging dock and adapters that meet local safety standards.
• Storage: If not using the watch for an extended period, charge it fully, turn it off, and store it in a cool, dry place. Recharge at least once every 3 months.
• Operating Temperature: The watch operates best between -10 °C and 45 °C. Performance may be affected by extreme temperatures.
• Broken Display: If the display is broken, do not touch it or attempt removal. Stop using the watch immediately and contact authorized service.
• Battery Safety: Do not disassemble, deform, incinerate, or puncture the battery. If swelling or leakage occurs, stop using it immediately. The watch has an integrated battery; do not attempt to replace it yourself. Replacement should only be done by authorized service personnel to avoid potential hazards. Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures or low air pressure, as this could lead to explosion or leakage. Do not dispose of batteries in household waste or landfills; follow local laws and regulations.
• Small Parts: The watch and accessories may contain small parts. Keep them out of reach of children to prevent choking hazards.
• Indicator Visibility: Keep the indicator out of the reach of children and pets when the product is in use.
