Important

Your Dual Battery Kit is exclusively designed for your vehicle. Please read the installation instructions thoroughly before beginning. Installation is easier if the vehicle is clean and free of debris. For your safety, and to ensure a satisfactory installation, perform all installation steps correctly in the sequence shown.

Installation Instructions

General

1. Shift vehicle transmission into PARK. Turn ignition switch to OFF position and remove key.

Seat Removal

1. Pull up on lever, located below front of seat.

2. Tilt seat assembly forward and pull back slightly to disengage from receiver tube. Remove seat from vehicle.

Battery Disconnect

1. Remove and retain battery terminal (A) and washer (B) to remove NEGATIVE battery cable.

Battery Removal

1. Remove and retain battery terminal fastener and washer to remove NEGATIVE battery cable.

2. Remove and retain battery terminal fastener and washer to remove POSITIVE battery cable.

3. Remove and retain two battery bracket fasteners to remove battery bracket.

4. Maneuver primary battery out of battery compartment.

   Note: Primary and secondary batteries are both installed beneath driver's seat.

Battery Install

1. Insert two U-nuts (2) into mounting locations of battery tray.

2. Place secondary battery (sold separately) in battery tray.

3. Secure battery to battery tray with bracket (3) and two fasteners (6).

4. Replace primary battery and secure with battery bracket and two fasteners.

Wire Install

1. Install POSITIVE (+) battery cable (1) to battery with one battery nut (8), one washer (9), and one battery terminal post (5).

2. Install secondary and primary POSITIVE (+) battery cables to primary battery with one battery nut, one washer, and one battery terminal fastener.

3. Install NEGATIVE (–) battery cable (2) to battery with one battery nut (8), one washer (9), and one battery terminal fastener.

4. Install secondary and NEGATIVE (–) battery cables to primary battery with one battery nut, one washer, and one battery terminal fastener.
