Safety Precautions and Warnings

DO NOT USE IN THESE CONDITIONS

Consult your doctor before using this unit.

The unit may cause lethal rhythm disturbances in certain susceptible individuals. If you have had a recent surgical procedure, the stimulation may interrupt the healing process.

Before using your unit, inspect these items:

  1. The cord is not broken.
  2. The pad gel is not damaged.
  3. The electrode cable connection is not broken.
  4. The unit is intact and functioning.
  5. There is no battery leakage.

DO NOT APPLY THE PRODUCT TO THESE PERSONS

  • Pregnant women.
  • Do not use on children or infants as the device has not been evaluated for pediatric use.
  • Keep out of reach of small children as the electrode cable could cause strangulation.
  • Persons unable to express their thoughts or intentions.
  • Persons unable to operate the unit by themselves.
  • Use with caution if you have a tendency to bleed internally, such as after an injury or fracture.
  • If you suspect or are diagnosed with a heart condition, you must follow the precautions recommended by your doctor.
  • If you have a suspected or actual epilepsy, you must follow the precautions recommended by your doctor.
  • Be careful if stimulation is applied over the menstrual uterus.

NEVER APPLY THE ELECTRODES TO THESE AREAS OF THE BODY:

  • The head, mouth, or any area of the face.
  • The neck or any area of the throat, as this could cause severe muscle spasms resulting in airway closure, difficulty breathing, or adverse effects on heart rhythm or blood pressure.
  • Do not use near the heart or in the genital area.
  • Both sides of the chest simultaneously (lateral or front and back), or across the chest because the electrical current may cause rhythm disturbances that could be lethal.
  • Both calves at the same time, as this can cause a cardiac disturbance.
  • The lower part of both feet at the same time, as this can cause a cardiac disturbance. Open wounds or rashes or inflamed areas, red, infected or inflamed areas, or skin eruptions (such as varicose veins, phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, and thrombosis), or on or near cancerous lesions, or on areas of skin that lack normal sensation.

DO NOT USE THIS UNIT DURING THESE ACTIVITIES

  • When in the bathtub or shower;
  • While sleeping;
  • While driving, operating machinery, or during any activity where electrical stimulation could put you at risk of injury.

WARNINGS FOR PAIN TREATMENT

  • If you have received medical or physical treatment for your pain, consult with your doctor before using this unit.
  • If your pain does not improve, becomes chronic or severe, or continues for more than five years, discontinue use of the unit and consult your doctor.
  • The mere existence of pain serves as a very important warning that something is wrong. Therefore, if you suffer from any serious illness, consult your doctor to confirm that it is advisable to use this pain relief unit.

Pad Precautions

  • Do not move the pads to another location while the unit is on.
  • The therapy will not work with a single pad. You must use two pads at the same time.
  • Ensure that the components are properly connected and the pads are fixed to the body part you wish to treat, or the therapy may not be effective.
  • The pad should not touch any metal object, such as a belt buckle, necklace, or other metal worn under clothing.
  • Do not overlap the pads or place one pad on top of another. This can weaken or stop the therapy, or the unit may stop working. Gel pads can also stick together, causing the gel to be removed when separated.
  • Do not share the pads with another person. This can cause skin irritation or infection. Pads are intended for use by one person.
  • Do not leave the pads attached to the skin after treatment.
  • Do not bend or fold them, as the gel may be damaged and they will not stick or work correctly.
  • To avoid damaging the adhesive surface of the pads, place the pads only on the skin or on the provided plastic pad holder to prevent damage to the adhesive surface of the pads.
  • Always place clean pads according to the provided illustrations.
  • Do not apply ointment or any solvent to the pads or your skin, as it will interfere with their operation. The adhesive pads will adhere to your skin.

How It Works

Scientific theory suggests that electrical stimulation therapy can work in several ways:

  1. The gentle electrical pulse travels through the skin to the nerves to block or turn off the pain message from the source of pain to the brain.
  2. The gentle electrical pulse increases the body's natural painkiller production, such as endorphins.
  3. Furthermore, it is believed that electrical stimulation also improves blood circulation. Muscles contract and relax with the flow of electrical stimulation. With contraction and relaxation, blood flows in and out, and blood circulation improves.

Operating Instructions

HOW TO USE

  1. Clean your skin before use. Use the pads on clean, flat areas, free of sweat and grease.
  2. Attach one or two pairs of electrode pads to the area of the massager, such as the shoulder and leg.
Note: Adding a few drops of water to the pads and drying them naturally will increase their longevity. Ensure both pads are on the skin and do not overlap.
  3. Connect a pair of electrode pads to a lead wire by plugging them in; the other end of the wire connects to the left output of the device. Similarly, connect the other pair of electrode pads to the remaining wire end and to the right output of the device.
  4. Turn on the device by sliding the power switch on the top of the unit.
  5. Press the left "V" or "Λ" to select channel A, then "A" will start to flash. (Or press the right "V" or "Λ" to select channel B, and then "B" will start to flash.)
  6. Press the "V" or "Λ" button to select 6 master modes, and press the "V" or "Λ" button to select sub-modes. If "A" is flashing, the selected mode is for channel A. (If "B" is flashing, the selected mode is for channel B).
  7. Press the left "V" or "Λ" to increase or decrease the intensity for channel A. Press the right "V" or "Λ" to increase or decrease the intensity for channel B.
Note: Remember that the intensity will default to the lowest value for each mode selection.
  8. The recommended application is from 10 to 90 minutes. Increase by 10 minutes for each adjustment by pressing the "T" on the device. The remaining time counts down automatically until the unit turns off once the time is up.
  9. Press and hold the center button for 3 seconds to lock the screen, press again for 3 seconds to unlock.

AFTER USE

  1. Turn off the device by sliding the power/off switch on the top of the unit.
  2. Remove the electrode cable plug from the connector by gently twisting and pulling it out.
  3. Lift a corner of the electrode and slowly peel it off. Avoid touching the gel as much as possible. Do not pull the electrode by the cable.
  4. Remove the electrodes from the storage bag and close it tightly again to prevent them from drying out. Store at room temperature or cool and keep away from direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
One pad feels stronger than the other. This is normal. Different areas of your body will react differently. No action needed. Ensure the pads are moist and making good contact.
Skin becomes red or feels irritated. The adhesive on the pad surface is dirty or dry.Wash the adhesive surface of the pads gently with fingertips for about 3 seconds under slow running water.
The therapy time is too long or the intensity is too high.Reduce application time or reduce intensity.
The electrode pad surface is worn out.Replace the electrode pad.
Intensity is not felt at a very weak intensity level.Pads are not adhering firmly to the body.Adhere both pads firmly to the skin.
Transparent films are still attached to the pads.Peel off the protective film from the adhesive surface of the pads.
Pads are stacked or overlapped.Do not stack or overlap the pads.
The cable is not connected correctly to the unit.Connect the cable correctly to the socket.
The intensity of the setting is becoming weak.Increase the intensity level.
Battery capacity is low.Charge the battery.
No power; no LCD screen.Battery capacity is depleted.Charge the battery.
It is difficult to attach the pad to the skin.Have you removed the protective film from the pad?Peel off the protective film from the adhesive surface of the pads.
Was the pad applied immediately after washing?Dry the pad.
Is the adhesive on the pad surface damaged?Replace the pad.
Power cuts off during use.Battery is weak.Charge the battery.
