Product Overview
The Hoftronic Cupo Wall Light is designed for household and general applications, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It offers smart functionality and is compatible with major voice assistants.
App Setup and Control
To control the Cupo Wall Light remotely, download the Hoftronic Smart App. You can find it by searching "Hoftronic Smart" on the Apple App Store or Google Play, or by scanning the provided QR code.
1. Download the App: Search for "Hoftronic Smart" in your device's app store.
2. Create Account: Register for a Hoftronic Smart account using your mobile number or email address. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete registration.
3. Add Smart Wall Light:
- Open the Hoftronic Smart App and navigate to the "Home" page.
- Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner.
- Select 'Lighting' and then your device type: 'Lighting BLE+Wi-Fi'.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the lamp.
- Preparation: Ensure the wall light is set to flash rapidly. This is achieved by cycling the power: Turn the light ON, then OFF, then ON, then OFF, then ON again. The indicator light should flash rapidly (approximately 2 times per second). Ensure the time interval between power cycles is not too short.
4. Control: Once connected, the wall light will appear in your app list. You can control it from anywhere, rename it, and group it with other Hoftronic Smart lamps.
Safety Instructions
- Ensure the AC/Mains power is NOT connected and cannot be unexpectedly reconnected during installation.
- This product must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the provided instructions and relevant electrical and safety regulations of the country of installation.
- This product must NOT be installed by minors or individuals with a mental disability.
Installation Instructions
Installation should be performed by a qualified person with the power supply disconnected. Exercise caution.
- Mounting the Base: Attach the light's base unit to the wall using appropriate screws.
- Wall Bracket: Secure the wall mounting bracket to the wall.
- Wiring: Connect the incoming power supply wires to the corresponding terminals inside the light fixture:
- Live (typically Brown or Red wire) connects to the 'Live' terminal.
- Earth (typically Green & Yellow wire) connects to the 'Earth' terminal.
- Neutral (typically Blue or Black wire) connects to the 'Neutral' terminal.
- Attaching Fixture: Secure the main body of the wall light to the mounted bracket.
- Final Check: Ensure all connections are secure and the fixture is properly mounted.
Functional Characteristics & Usage
The product can be used indoors and outdoors.
Maintenance and Cleaning:
- All maintenance must be performed with the power supply cut off and the product cooled down.
- Clean only with soft and dry cloths. Do not use chemical detergents.
- Do not cover the product and ensure free air access.
- The product may heat up during operation.
- Only supply the product with its rated voltage or voltage within the provided range.
- Do not use the product with a damaged protective cover.
- Avoid using the product in unfavorable conditions such as dust, excessive water, moisture, vibrations, explosive air atmosphere, fumes, or chemical fumes.
- The product is non-demountable and not suitable for independent repairs.
Environmental Protection
Dispose of waste electronic and electrical equipment selectively. This product should not be disposed of with regular household waste. Return it to a designated collection facility for WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). Contact local authorities or sellers for information on collection centers. Proper disposal is important to prevent harm to the environment and human health.
