- For safety, do not open the cover after installation.
Installation Details
Follow these steps for installation:
- Switch off the power supply.
- Unscrew the bottom screw of the sensor lamp, remove the cover, and insert the wire through the wire hole.
- Fix the base to the selected position using screws.
- Connect the power according to the wiring diagram.
- Replace the lamp on the installed base. Switch on the power and test functionality.
Wiring Diagram Description: The diagram shows connections for a single lamp or for connecting with an electric fan or another lamp. It illustrates the L (Live), N (Neutral), and LOAD connections for the sensor and the connected device.
Mounting Options: The light can be mounted flat or in an outer corner.
Functionality
The sensor light can distinguish between day and night, allowing adjustment of its working state based on ambient light levels.
- Day/Night Operation: Works in daytime and at night when set to the "sun" (max) position. Operates in ambient light below 3 LUX when set to the "3" (min) position.
- Adjustable Sensitivity: Detection distance can be adjusted from 5m (low sensitivity) to 10m (high sensitivity).
- Continuous Time-Delay: If a second induction signal is received within the first induction period, the timer restarts from that moment.
- Adjustable Time Delay: The duration can be set from 10 seconds ± 3 seconds (minimum) to 15 minutes ± 2 minutes (maximum).
Sensitivity Adjustment Diagram: Illustrates the difference between "Good Sensitivity" (longer detection range) and "Poor Sensitivity" (shorter detection range).
Sensor Information
Height of Installation: 1.8-2.5 meters
Detection Distance: Maximum 10 meters
Detection Angle: 240°
Testing Procedure
Follow these steps to test the sensor:
- Set SENS knob to maximum (+), TIME knob to minimum (10s), and LUX knob to maximum (sun).
- Switch on power. The lamp will initially show no signal. After a 30-second warm-up, it will start working. It turns on when an induction signal is received and turns off within 10 seconds ± 3 seconds after the last signal.
- Set LUX knob to minimum (3). The lamp should not work if ambient light is above 3 LUX. Covering the detection window with an opaque object (like a towel) should activate the lamp. If no induction signal is present, the lamp should turn off within 10 seconds ± 3 seconds.
Note: For daylight testing, ensure the LUX knob is set to the "SUN" position.
Troubleshooting
The load does not work:
- Check power source and load connections.
- Verify the load is functioning correctly.
- Ensure working light settings match ambient light conditions.
Sensitivity is poor:
- Check for obstructions in front of the detector.
- Verify ambient temperature is not too high.
- Ensure the induction signal source is within the detection field.
- Confirm installation height matches the required height.
- Check the movement orientation is correct.
Sensor does not automatically shut off the load:
- Check for a continuous signal in the detection field.
- Ensure the time delay is set to the maximum position.
- Verify power corresponds to the instructions.
